John tried it out on a simple stone block. Finding the pickax worked marvelously, he continued, then tried it on a few colorful blocks, and got some iron and coal.

John noticed the sudden appearance of the monster, and was about to kill it himself with his hammer, but it was killed before he could run over. He put it away and kept on mining.

With a red face at the mere thought of him and John, he lay down with the cloud at his back and signed dramatically. "HE'S NOT A HOMO, APPARENTLY." Karkat informed her, "AND THERE IS NO WAY IN PARADOX SPACE ILL EVER HOOK UP WITH THAT IDIOT."
