Zuhayr+Acacia <3

I would write a story but I feel awful. Maybe later on my dA page. All Acacia is missing is a plushie of herself. :3
Ooooh, I like those <3

Kèro Hiréyo [♂[/♀]] .&&. Dulahan [♂]
------
{[Listen to our souls, the sounds of our hearts]}
---------
Dulahan wasn't sure exactly where things went wrong- But they did, of course; that much was fairly obvious. Huddled under a giant, clover-like plant that was probably bigger than his old home, drenched in the heavy rainfall he had been caught in, he reflected on what had happened these past four hours.
The flowers to his left opened and glowed with a pale, unnerving light.
To say it was foreign would be... An understatement. Sort of. It was, quite literally, otherworldly; he was one of the newest recruits to this mission and, well, in his opinion no amount of training can really prepare you for actually being on another plaint. He knew little to nothing about the world he was stepping into- aside from what plants were poisonous, what animals were considered pets {so don't shoot the five-story-tall monster playing with the little kid}, and that the natives closest to camp were human-like and tall, with bark-like skin and leafy hair.
Walking trees, they called them.
Aside from that... This was going to be his introductory mission to the islands, but after four minutes of stepping foot in the jungle they had been ambushed by some sort of thing, and taken off running. {"They" being his guide, four other grunts and himself.} The animal hadn't been categorized yet, and having no clue what they were up against, retreat was pretty much their only option.
He didn't like it- but he grudgingly gave that round to this new world. Better safe than sorry, he supposed; he'd avenge his pride one way or another. Eventually.
But the beast had decided to follow him, causing him to run farther and faster than his companions. He had shaken it, after a bit, but somehow ended up here- a sort of bioluminescent forest full of overgrown fungi and weeds.
He still had his tracking device clipped onto his belt; it was just a matter of time before his troops found him.
The rain didn't look like it would let up anytime soon, though; so laying back with a sigh, he folded his arms behind his head and closed his eyes, listening for any sign of life. Be it friendly or deadly, he'd like to be prepared this time.
When he opened them again, he saw a single golden eye looking back at him.
He screamed and scrambled back, flailing around in the mud for his gun or knife or something;
{Ahahaha!}
He had only been given the utility belt an hour ago, anyway, it wasn't like he knew where everything was ye- Wait, what?
He carefully looked back at the creature; the person, he almost thought, but upon closer inspection he saw the gems embedded into its skin, the feather earrings and sparse, thick clothing... A native?
Not the ones from camp, then. He- she- it was certainly different. Their skin seemed to be bone-white and glowed like the local flora; the gems looked like they were made of water, not amber like the other navies. And there was something softer about them, at that; not the kind of rock-solid determination the local natives had about them. This one looked like it could slip right through your fingers if you were to reach out and touch them.
The native was smiling down at him- pale blue hair laying over one eye and rather long, from what he could tell- and when it crouched down to eye-level, he skittered backwards like a crab in the mud. It only seemed amused as it waited for him to get his breath back.
"W...What?" He sputtered without thinking- and then jumped, when the creature leaned over him and cupped his face in a cold, slightly wet hand. It studied his face passively. It was smaller than him by about a foot, and thin as a reed, but it was still build like a whip; the musculature seemed similar to a human's, but he wasn't entirely sure if he could put up a fight against it, should the native attack...
{Sol... Sol-luu-dar?}
He hadn't heard it with his ears; he heard it with his mind, a little tickling sensation in his brain like water sliding down his back. He shivered. It was so, so, so inhuman that it sent panic lights off, racing through his veins.
"...Huh?" He managed, and it repeated the inquiry, seeming to struggle with the pronunciation of the words. Solder, he thought, it's trying to say solder. He debated whether it would be smart to tell them yes or not, but... It might have already seen into his mind or something, considering how it was speaking to him. He nodded. "Yes, er, solder. I'm a solder."
The native grinned, white teeth flashing in the pale lights below them, and gestured towards itself with its free hand;
{Sh- shaamahn.}
It took him less time to understand, but it still didn't help matters any; this creature was a Shaman, and if he learned nothing else from his brief... briefing course, it was that Shamans were considered extremely important to the people here. He was glad he hadn't draw his weapon.
At a loss of what to do, he leaned up slowly, maneuvering into something of a sitting position. The native seemed pretty content to half-lean over him, keeping their freezing hand on his face at all times. Dulahan wondered if it was just curious or was doing something else; but quickly decided it to be safer not thinking about it at all.
The rain thundered on.
He gestured to himself, "Dulahan- I, er, my name is Dulahan. I am Dulahan." He floundered; he was never good at things like this- especially not on a new world with a strange Shaman leaning half over him, half on top of him, staring at him with open fascination in a forest full of glowing alien plants.
He swallowed noisily.
The Shaman smiled and mimic'd his silly gestures, {Kèro Hiréyo. My, nahme is... Kèro Hiréyo.}
The syllables were strange on his tongue, but he whispered them in spite of himself. "Kero..."
"{Kèro Hiréyo}", They said in unison. The shaman smiled and leaned forward, nose bumping against the solder's, breathing so lightly...
The sound of his troop arriving was loud in the quiet. He jerked away from the Shaman's touch for just a moment, looking around their body for sight of his men- and when he turned back, the native was gone. Just as swiftly as they came.
He didn't know if he'd ever see the native again; didn't really expect to. But he was certain that he would never forget them.
'Welcome to Sol, huh...' Dulahan thought to himself, sitting back in his bunker. Safe and sound and normal again; or as normal as things could be. 'They don't warn you about that in training...'

For clarification, Kèro is technically male; but shamans are considered to be both male and female in spirit. :3

The last thing I could remember was falling...falling from the great ledge I used to sit upon.
I felt the iron bolts that had imprisoned me on that ledge coming loose, then I remember seeing the ground come closer and closer..then blackness. Void. Nothing. I'm not sure how long the void lasted, all I remember is awakening...
A pair of amber eyes lined with pink gazed at me, sparkling with wonder. The eyes were so close, and through them I saw immense beauty.
The creature that owned the amber eyes backed up a little, and I saw what I only thought could've been an angel.
Her fur was the most delicate blush, with various shades of pink and white outlining intricate designs throughout her pelt.
On the side of her ear and attached to her tail were fushcia-colored roses with strands of lace dangling off them that swayed and seemed to float everytime she moved. Around her shoulder was a black and silver ribbon with a flower whose beauty could never match hers.
I looked back to her eyes. The designs around them were painted with coral, and each had a small oval underneath it.
In all my years of sitting upon that ledge, I had never seen such precise, perfect beauty.
This couldn't be real...I was dead. Surely, I was dead, and she was an angel.
An angel had come to rescue me, pity me, help me move on the next world.
I instantly felt dread. When I moved on, would she still be there with me? I..loved her.
She didn;t have to say a word, I loved her already.
Then, suddenly, she parted her lips and spoke, softly, delicately.
'You're...you're broken.' She said with a gasp, inspecting me curiously.
I looked down at myself. She was right, my arm and tail were crumbling, I was cracked, and there were gaps along my body.
I lifted up my arm to inspect what was left of it without realizing what I was doing.
I could move.
In all my years upon the ledge, I had never been able to move. Except now. I felt alive...I felt normal.
I couldn't speak, I was at a loss for words. I started to panic, to wonder what to do, but as if reading my mind, the angel spoke.
'What is your name?' She said, curiosity evident in her graceful voice.
My name.
Did I have a name? I quickly recalled what she had called me, the first words she had spoken to me.
Testing my vocal chords, I said, 'Broken. What...what happens to be your name?'
She paused, obviously a bit taken back by my name.
'Sophie.' She said in her soft, alluring voice.
Starting to believe, and hope, that this was real, that I wasn't dead, I found words to say.
'Such a beautiful name, Sophie.'
And it was true, she did have a beautiful name. It was soft, delicate, and beautiful, like her.
She blushed and said, 'Thank you.' Then, regaining herself, asked me, 'Are you alright?..I saw you fall and came to see if you were okay.'
'Ohh, well..' To be honest, I wasn't sure. I was falling apart, but, I was alive. I think. 'Yes, I'm alright, I think.'
'That's good to hear. You didn't move for hours after you fell, I was worried that...'
Wow..here I was, with the most beautiful creature on Earth. Not only was she gorgeous on the outside, but on the inside.
She had waited by my side, by a complete stranger, to simply make sure I wasn't dead. Which, also meant I wasn't dead, and she was real.
'Broken,' She said softly. 'Do you have anywhere to go? I am alone, we could be together. I have no where to go and everywhere to go, we could simply be wherever we so choose to..have out own lives? Last night..I wished on a shooting star. I wished for company, someone to be with me. And...'
She didn't need to say anymore, I could see her pleas through her eyes...And at that moment, I wanted nothing more than to be with her.
