Mistywing was a bit stung at Cinderwing's harsh words. She hadn't even made a whole lot of noise, so she didn't fully see the point of the other queen's snap. But she partly understood why Cinderwing was all cranky and snappy now. With her mate dying a while ago, she had grieved heavily, since Blackclaw had never gotten the chance to know that she was expecting while he was alive. But Mistywing didn't respond to Cinderwing's words, just looked at her with concern before turning back to her own kits.

Cinderwing closed her eyes as she tried to sleep her pain away, but she felt guilty about snapping at the queen for no real reason, other than to be mean. The grey tabby then turned her body so she was facing her and looked at Mistywing with sad, pained eyes. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snapped like that. It just gets harder and harder, having the one you love be gone." The queen said as a silent tear rolled down her cheek, not even making a move to clean it off.

Featherkit saw the pain in the queens eyes, she stopped playing with her sister and padded up to her "it's ok" she said sweetly, pawing at her pelt as she pretend to play with the queen to keep her mind off things.

Hi guys, sorry for not roleplaying today. :c
I'm a bit busy at the moment with extra homework and other real life things, so please excuse me if I don't come on!

Mistywing accepted the apology without a single gesture that she did so, understanding the reason behind it. Regarding the grieving queen with sympathetic eyes, she spoke.
"I know, Cinderwing. I'm truly sorry about your loss, but sometimes you can't just keep hovering over the past. Don't let it interfere with the present." She mewed quietly, the last sentence more of an encouraging urge.
"Everyone suffers from losses sometime during their lives. I did, after losing both my parents. But we all get over you. Because we know that they are watching from StarClan, safe and sound."
