Dissent

Rin shook her head and scooted down to lay her head on his chest. "I can think of a few occasions that's for sure" she grinned deviously and hugged his torso.

Kalten turned and made his way back around the other side of the encampment.

"As can I" Pallon mumbled. He sluggishly wrapped his arms around her again.

As they passed a particularly populated part of the camp Gransi puffed his chest and called out as loud as he could.

Rin watched the embers glow gently and was out within minutes on Pallon's chest.

Kalten ducked into a nearby bush and rubbed his ear, spewing a strong string of curses, "You've got to be kidding me"! He grumbled irritably as he watched for any signs of hostility from the group before he moved on.

Pallon had almost been asleep when he heard Gransi. He cursed lightly.

Several of the sleeping guards woke and growled in annoyance. Others rolled over with a grumble.

Gransi seemed proud of himself. He waited for Kalten to start moving gain before he called out again, this time not so loud.

Rin buried her face in the blanket and released a long, low, dramatic growl as she woke from her sleep. She continued to grumble softly into Pallon's chest, apparently arguing with herself.

Kalten grit his teeth as he dashed from the bushes, "How does Cass put up with you bird"?!

Pallon pulled Rin closer with his own grumble "D*** bird." He tried to listen in on Rin's argument.

Gransi puffed his chest again and let out another call.

"Gransi hush!" Cass said from somewhere nearby.

"D*** bird... one night of sleep.... noooo had to be the good guy..." Rin continued to mumble. Her voice grew softer as she continued until she stopped with a defeated sigh.

Kalten looked around desperately, "Please take him! I've already been attacked twice today and don't feel like starting a fight with a bird"! He reached up to lift Gransi off of his shoulders.

Pallon smiled and kissed her forehead.

Gransi snapped at his hands as he tried to grab him.

Cass chuckled, coming from behind Kalten. She lifted a somewhat startled Gransi off of Kalten and cradled him. "I'm sorry, Kalten. He gets devious when he isnt allowed to roam for very long.

Rin giggled as she was kissed and peaked up at him with one tired eye.

"Ah"! Kalten hissed as his fingers took a beating. He shook them out before looking to Cass as the bird was lifted off of him. "Thank you," He said through clenched teeth and flexing his hand, "And it's alright, I think I'd get that way too". He shot the bird a stoic glare.

Pallon smiled tiredly at her. "I think it's stopped..."

Gransi cooed softly as he was cradled and seemed to fall asleep in Cass's arms.

Cass gave him a small smile with concern. "Did he cut you hand?"
