Rin was dreaming peacefully as she listened to the sound of Pallon's heart beating rhythmically.

Kalten nodded, "I envy you". He smirked and looked back to Ayrian, "She's a lucky girl to have parents like you and Siren".

Pallons smile faded as his sleep deepend and the nightmares began to take hold.

"envy me? I don't see a reason to envy me." avian responded. "she would have been.luckier to have not had parents that were and are assassins. To have been born to a life that wouldn't threaten itself..."

Rin shifted slightly, blissfully unaware, and clutched his shirt.

"I envy your courage and bravery" Kalten replied, "She couldve been so much more unlucky too. She couldve had assassin parents that didn't care".

Pallon.shifted slightly in his sleep. He whimpered slightly as the nightmare took hold.

"I am not brave ..." Avian replied. "I... Suppose that is true."

Rin went into a light sleep as her senses arose from the sound of Pallon's whimper, but her eyes stayed closed. Her ears shifted and she listened.

Kalten smiled, "Of course you are, or at least more so than I am. You stood up to your guild master".

Pallon threw his head to the side and mumbled, "no..."

Avian looked at kalten. "yet it took me so long to do so and even.then I almost didn't."

Rin groggily lifted her head to look up at him. "Pallon"? She whispered softly, blinking as her eyes focused in the dim light.

Kalten looked at him with a raised brow, "Almost doesn't count".

Pallon groaned in his sleep as if he was in pain and whimpered again.

"doesn't it?" Avian asked. "I was ordered to kill my own daughter and I hesitated. I hesitated when I should have just out right refused. I actually thought about it."

"I could say the same to you." He said, swirling his scythe."But I've been wandering for a bit"

Rin lifted her hand to his shoulder with an exhausted concern. "Pallon"! She whispered again, slightly more demanding.

Kalten shrugged, "It was the way you were raised I'm assuming. It takes a lot to sacrifice everything you were taught for your entire world. At least from what Bears told me, emotions don't have any room in the guilds, but you made room".
