Shadowpaw smiled and allowed her to lean on him. He began to gently lead her into the medicine cat's den.

Flinthawk pouted before saying in mock anger, "Hey, that's my name for them." Then, he broke out in a chuckle, his eyes scanning his beautiful family lovingly.

She looked at him," How long do you think it'll take me to heal?" She questioned the young tom. Her heart was racing, if she couldn't keep up all she had been trained she would loose the ability to fight.

"I'm not sure, how deep are your wounds? If they're infected then I think it'll take longer, but I'm not sure. The medicine cats will know." Shadowpaw shrugged, trying to dig up at medicine cat knowledge he may have. He was digging up blanks. "Skullheart! Dewdrop! Spottedpaw!" he called.

She shrugged," I haven't felt the pain in a long time." She laughed gently," I don't think I even remember what an infected wound feels like."

Skullheart perked up at the sound of her name. She quickly trotted over to the two. Honestly she'd been bored since the battle, there was nothing to do and she slightly missed her old life. When everyone feared her name and would run if they saw her.

Shadowpaw shrugged, "Neither do I" He faced Skullheart. "Can you look Shade over?" he asked.

She nodded in response and quickly began looking the young she-cat over. She needed food, anyone could see that. And had scars covering her flank and neck, a few scars that looked like they had been burned on her leg and a small tear in her ear. Out of her open wounds, none were infected. She had been cleaning them. The cuts that were still bleeding were slowly beginning to scab up but she wouldn't be able to move her leg much just in case they opened again." Your going to have to stay still for a while." She meowed as she stood in front of the pair." I'd say a day at max, but we will have to see what the others think. You'll need to eat a lot to make up for your lost weight."

She took in the older cat's information. Her heart pounded, at least nothing was too bad. She didn't say anything about infection so that was good. Shade looked at Shadowpaw mouthing the words, At least it's only a day.

Shadowpaw felt relieve wash over him. He smiled and nodded. Not bad, eh? he mouthed back. "Thanks Skullheart." Shadowpaw nodded in appreciation to the experienced cat.

She smiled and walked into the medicine den, her leg was beginning to burn now and she could tell at least one wound had re-opened. She shrugged it off and curled up in a moss nest, her ears pressed firmly to her head.

She looked at Shadowpaw after the she-cat left," She might re-open more wounds than just one. You'll have to keep an eye out. Oh and did you find any of Cayonswoops pack? We don't want them hanging around the territory."

Shadowpaw nodded, "Alright, I'll do that. And no, I haven't yet. I'll keep my eyes out for them though."
