Kiara looked up slowly, looking over at Darwin.She wondered if there was a meaning behind Donte's words.She allowed herself to calm down more, her heart beating more slowly.Why am I so nervous? she thought to herself.It felt like her confidence in herself was lost.Kiara couldn't help but care about Donte more than a friend.He seemed to be everything to her.She couldn't tell him that though.Kiara was afraid he'd make fun of her.

Storm licked at Arber's cheek. "You look... jumpy. What's wrong?" She gave a short, worried whimper to the big male, her eyes shining with an unknown emotion. "Come on, you know you can talk to me." She bent her ears back, listening to a small creature of some sort rustling about in the forest.

"Um, no reason. You know, just....a.....ya" He said trying to hide the truth. Arber wasn't very good at llying to people he knew. He didn't want Storm or anyone he knew about Grim.

"I can hunt really well," Xavior relpied. "and I am willing to become a hunter, if you need one."

Darwin tilted his head and looked at the little dog.. 'He can hunt?...Oh never mind we can use all the help he can get' he thought. "We can use all the help we can get, so welcome to the group" Darwin said as he wagged his tail "I believe the others are still sleeping, but if you want i can bring you too camp" Darwin's stomach growled, "and you can show me your hunting skills." Darwin smiled as he began to walk to camp, he nodded at Xavior to follow him.

"Thank you," Xavior said, and wagged his tail as well. He followed Darwin to thecamp, and was surprised at how great it looked. Xavior did as he was told, and started looking for a rabbit to give to Darwin.

Grim licked Scarlet's cheek as she fell asleep. He knew that they should go back to the camp soon, but he couldn't bring himself to wake her. She had trained hard today, and she must have been tired. So, he lay there, keeping her warm in the chill night air.

Donte watched Kiara closely. She seemed... off. She seemed like she had her mind tied up in something, and that she was going through some inner turmoil. He was afraid that if he spoke to her about it, she might get upset or offended, so he kept his thoughts to himself. But, he found himself worrying about her, all the same. He was a worrier, it was in his nature, but he found himself worrying about her more than he had anyone, or anything else.

Storm sighed. "Just tell me. It's okay, I can keep a secret. Hell, I spent most of my life in silence, this'll be easy." She inched over to him, but still stayed far enough where they weren't touching. She wanted to, she really did, but she was afraid he wound panic and scoot away again.

"If Darwin doesn't need us to do anything, can we go for a walk?Maybe?" asked Kiara to Donte gently.Her gaze was focused on a blade of grass.It danced in the wind, but she didn't seem to care, her eyes seemed blank for some reason.

Donte nodded. "Of coarse." He stood, shaking his pelt vigorously. He wanted to know what was wrong with her, as it was starting to upset him as well. He stepped toward the forest, looking back to Kiara and smiling his small, charming smile.

Scarlet whimpered softly, nuzzling Grim. She yawned, falling asleep after she had woken up for a few seconds. She sighed, flicking her tail.

Grim licked at Scarlet's ear, whispering. "Come on, we need to get back to the camp." He sighed. He didn't really want to leave. He wanted to stay where he as forever, but he knew he had a responsibility to his new group.

Kiara smiled back weakly and followed Donte, her pace even with his, though she stayed behind, trying to get her thoughts in order.She was going to have to come out and say it, if he didn't feel the same, she'd understand.

Scarlet nodded, "Alright." Scarlet sniffed, shaking her pelt. She stood beside Grim, smiling sweetly before nuzzling his neck. Scarlet smiled, prancing about.
