Dissent

Rin quickly launched forward with a roar and dispatched two assassin's that attempted to rush her. She jumped into the tree above her and felled three more that dropped to the ground, their throats severed and bleeding.

Kalten stuck by Siren's side as the chaos rampage around them and an assassin appeared from the shadows dodging through the crowd towards them. His jaw clenched and he drew his sharpest dagger, jumping from the saddle and over Siren's horse to meet the man, "YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM"!

De'sha bolted through the melee and under the assassin's horses, biting at their hocks and underbellies.

The fighting continued and several of the group seemed to have dissapeared in the battle. Even as the assassins fell it seemed as though more kept coming.

Bear surged for the front. He was out for Characes blood and none of the guild assassins lasted long in his rampage.

Rin was beginning to see red again and her eyes flared with an ungodly rage that could make any man freeze with fear. She let her instincts take over her judgement, mauling anything that held a blade against her.

The man caught Kalten by the throat and slammed him to the ground with a malicious smile and looked up to Siren and her daughter, "Let this be a preview" He laughed, producing a dagger out of thin air.

The breathe left Kalten's lungs but he still found enough strength to drive his blade into the man's chest as he threatened Siren and Ayrian. "You can't have them I said"! He coughed.

The horses that stood in their way started to buck and rear as De'sha sunk her teeth into their soft underbellies and legs. She danced between them as they began to collide with each other.

Bear made it to the front where Pallon and Tovheir were fighting. He passed them, stalking towards a group of assassins that had convergded on themselves.

The guild assassins seemed to have devided. In the group Charace and the woman stood, backed by a large number, while the blond faced them with five others. The blond was glaring at Charace, "You said you wouldnt kill them!" His voice rang out above most of the other noises.

Charace scoffed at him. "I'm your guild master, Avian. You will do as commanded, and kill the girl yourself."

Rin faced three assassin's still in the trees. They all drew their blades within seconds, but it was barely fast enough to counter as she tackled the first and sent the other two falling to the ground. They were entangled in close combat on the branches and the blade cut through Rin's leg as she landed a blow. She hissed at him and advanced again.

Kalten heaved the man off of him as his grip around his throat tightened then loosened, the life seeping from his eyes and he fell into the dirt. He shot up and put his back to Siren and Ayrian.

De'sha made her way back to Kalten's side as her mischief took its full affect on the line of horses and they flung a few of their riders.

There was an almost inhuman cry of rage that came from the back of the group. A large open area revealed Taivil cutting down assassin after assassin. Any of those that came too close he would ram and bite into them.

An assassin lunged for Rins back but was rammed in the air by Nick. The two of them hit the branch Rin was on and feel to the ground. Nick snarling like Wolf had when the dark light in his eyes had appeared, however, Nick didnt look any different from his normal as ripped the man apart.

Wolf had Arcane circling around Siren, Ayrian, and Kalten now, shooting at anyone too close and in the trees.

Bear rammed into and unsuspecting Charace with a snarl of rage and hatred, sending the man forward and into Avian's blades. The two groups collided and in a matter of seconds the attacking assassins were fleeing, yelling out that their leader was dead and their brothers have turned.

Rin and the assassin were locked in combat when Nick and another hit the branch they were on, sending them both to the ground, however, the man was dead before he could even hit it. She stood and mounted Balon again, looking wildly about for any more assailants before grabbing hold of Kalten.

Kalten was taken off guard as Rin hoisted him back onto his horse. He spun and was about to plunge until he saw it was her and quickly sheathed it.

De'sha chased a few of the retreating assassin's into the bush then galloped back, looking proud of herself.

The others all looked around as the assassins fled. Several people had sustained injuries.

Ayrian finally squirmed away from Siren and off of the horse. She ran through the bdies, not even seeming to care about the gruesome scenes. She threw herself at the blond man, Avian. "DADDY!"

Surprised Avain stumbled back as his daughter tackled him. Her wrapped his arms around her, despite the massive wound on the one and hugged her tightly. "Ayrian." He didnt care about the concerned looks his brothers were giving him, only four remained as the other took a dagger to the heart.

Bear had vaished, chasing the assassins.

Nick remained crouching as the rest of the assassins fled. His green eyes watching them.

Tovheir and Pallon looked around and started helping the fallen to their feet and towards the hooded woman, who had begun healing the wounded.

Rin grabbed Kalten by the arm again and looked him over, choking down her instincts and calming her bloodrage. "Are you ok"? She forcibly lifted his arms and made him turn in his saddle to look at his back.

Kalten nodded, "I'm fine! I'm FINE, Rin"! He leapt from his saddle to escape her grasp and walked among the injured and dead.

De'sha followed behind Kalten, looking at each body with a growl, expecting them to attack again.

Siren got out of the saddle and rushed after Ayrian. She halted a few feet away, wary of the other assassins.

Avian looked up at Siren, still hugging Ayrian and with tears in his eyes. "Siren, I'm sorry. I..."

Wolf and Nick came up to either side of Siren growling at Avian.

Mage wasnt far behind.

Pallon looked around and spooted Rin and Kalten. He rushed over to them, "Are you two ok?!"

Tovheir, confident that the injured were being tended to, turned to stalk up to the group.

Nianna walked calmly among the dead and dying seemingly unphased.

Taivil sucked the blood off of his thumb as he walked towards Rin adjacent to Nianna.

Jasnah and Degger stalked around the bodies like deamons.
