Hades winced again and then placed his hands down on the pavement, steadying himself so he wouldn't collapse. "Just fine..." he said in a growl between clenched teeth, his eyelids closed tightly.

Phyre cocked her head she had only killed the Human...but what was wrong with Hades?

Max bit her lip wondering what she should do.

Hades let out a sigh and then slowly lifted his head, glancing over at Max. "He's dead alright." he said and then glanced back down at the boy, knowing that someone has messed with the boy.

"Alright, but what did you just do? I mean, you look.................."-She trailed off.

"I was trying to transfer him some energy," Hades stated, glancing back at Max. "But, he's already dead." he said, his eyes narrowing.

"Oh."-Max said looking down at the ground.-"I see."

Hades pushed himself up to his feet and then turned to Max, leaning down and gently kissing her forehead.

Phyre smiled, that boy's soul had filled her up, yum. she was the type that fed on souls, not the body, flesh or memories. It was as simple as that.
