"A King? Who says."

Ever since he was a young lad, Xictor saw himself as something greater. Something powerful. "A king!" He says, and everyone laughed. No one believed a word that came from his lips. But no matter, they were all fools. He would show them, he would show them he was a king.
At the age of fourteen, he set off to conquer the palace of Al'Lajad just outside of his home in the forests under the temple's reign. There, he did what everyone though he couldn't do.
He took power.
the first thing he did was send guards down to his old village. Once they arrived with the news of his take-over, the people feared what he would do to them.Those who questioned him and told him down of his abilities were taken to his palace. Shaking, the peasants stood at their new ruler's feet waiting for their punishment.
Jewels were placed around their necks.
Surprised they answered with "King! How do i deserve this?" and "Sir, I am honored" while others who feared him spoke and said "My powerful and young emperor! Please spare my life! I was wrong to judge your power. These jewels i will give back for my life as well as anything you ask of me." In all the chaos and words spoken, Xictor held up his paw and smiled,
"No. These are a gift to you. Your lives are not at danger under my rule unless you have broken a law. These are a token of my peace and gratitude. Without your misjudgment and hatred slang from your tongues, I would not have had the great desire to succeed and rule. Now please, take these and speak of peace to those down in the village below. Be merry and celebrate for you are safe in my reign and your homes as well."
The men and women were amazed. How could he forgive them so easily? Without hesitation, they rose to their feet and left to their homes in which they spread the news and rejoiced in celebration of their new king.
