Does your parra(s) have any fears? why that fear?
Quin... well. Lets see. He's afraid of blood. Even a drop of it makes him feel woozy, but if you spread enough of it around he might even faint. He's afraid of sharp things - needles, scissors, knives, overly-long parra beaks, stiletto heels, exc. He's also afraid of dolls. And loud noises/unexpected things. And Malachite finding a boy/girlfriend. XD Except for the last one, which is just a parental thing, Quin's fears are all irrational. So I can't give a reason.
Malachite is wary of cave-ins while she's spelunking, and is likewise always aware of the possibility of falling into a hole deep underground and hurting herself where no one can ever find her, but that's about it. Both very rational fears. It's why she's always sure to to carry backup batteries for her walkie-talkies, totes an emergency GPS locator beacon, and refuses to go too deep into a cave by herself.
Cora is afraid of public speaking. Or, for that matter, speaking to people she doesn't know. Her stutter deeply embarrasses her, and she's terrified people will think she's stupid because she can't express her ideas as eloquently as some Parras.

Do they have a certain system they go through before going to bed?
Quin goes around and checks all the windows and doors to make absolutely sure they're locked. He then checks the stove to make sure it's off, and unplugs any electrical whatsit he can get to. Finally, he combs out the long fur on his tail. If he doesn't, it will be that much harder to deal with in the morning.
Malachite puts in her earbuds and taps the dream-catcher hanging above her bed for good luck before turning in.
Cora just... goes to bed.

Do they have a job? If so, what is it?
Quin is a traveling bard, if that counts? He gets paid for it sometimes, but more often than not it's more like a pleasurable lifestyle than a job.
Malachite is a geologist. I... honestly haven't decided exactly what sorts of things she works on though.
Cora has no job at the moment.

Why did you/they pick their song? (Might wanna say what their song is)
Quin's song is Take the Long Way Home by Supertramp. It was originally something else, but I changed it because I felt that this song fit him better. It reflects his laid-back attitude and his unwillingness to rush through life, as well as his refusal to let things he can't change bother him.
Malachite's song is a bit odd because it's not really in-line with the sort of music she usually listens to, but it reflects perfectly her attitude toward life and the people around her - it's Get Off my Back from the Disney movie Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron.
Cora's song is The Song of the Caged Bird. It fits her perfectly. First of all, it's the sort of music she loves to listen to. Second, Cora really is the quintessential 'caged bird' type of character - while there are so many things she'd like to go out and do, her insecurities and anxieties hold her back. Which is why music is such an important outlet for her. It allows her to unwind for a bit.

What annoys them beyond all belief?
Quin, while he's usually very easy-going, simply can not stand people with closed minds or people who are purposefully antagonistic.
Malachite is particularly annoyed by fake psychics, or people who try to exploit the beliefs of others to make a quick buck. She also can't stand people who can't take a joke. It is therefore needless to say that she has very mixed feelings about the show PSYCH. ;P
Cora absolutely hates someone talking over a song she's trying to listen to. If you're trying to get her to actually raise her voice, this'd do it.

It's great to see the fanclub becoming more active again.
I unfortunately wont be able to participate as much as I want, irl is super hectic. I just wanted to give a little reminder about a parra up for adoption! Is it still possible for me to get him colored in on beatnik's lines? My form was accepted before and I'm super willing to wait for it.

Ooh... Ellie probably fears that one day all forests will disappear x.x Maybe a little irrational, but thats what she fears xD

Its not much of a system, but she likes looking at the open night sky before going to sleep ^^

Hm.. I don't think so. But if she were to work in the real world, she'd probably be a tour guide of some kind in forests/mountains

So I've got a question and i didn't want to spam any official topics, I thought i would ask here.

One of the first guidelines for egg designs on the myo contest is no spectrums. I was special and didn't read fine print very well before redoing my first egg

Is this considered spectrum? It's a really pretty design and I'm finally happy with all three entries, lol.

If it is I'll just have to work on redoing it again. Then I might try to add items and think of separate character concepts for each design if mine's still not picked by then. I'm loving all the MYOs so far. Maybe I'll make wings optional if I win a parra with wings. A lot of comps I'm trying for are ending soon. I'm super anxious but excited too!

Does your parra(s) have any fears? why that fear?
Pandora is really afraid of being assulted or rejected. The assult part is understandble, with him being a past victim of a random gang beating.( lets not delves further into that) The being rejected bit is kind of from his childhood, when other parra wouldn't want to play with him becuase of his scary wings, horns and weird "dead" aura.

Deimos is really really afraid of water. Like avoiding bathing at all costs afraid. And for a really silly reason too! He got water all up in his little parra nose when he was bathing as a very tiny pup and the sensation really freaked him out. (His OCD kinda weirds him out too, but he doesn't like mentioning it that much.)

Alyss is only afraid that someone will hurt her little family. She is perfectly happy with how her life is right now, and she doesn't want anything to mess it up.

The Feds. Púca simply despises and fears federal agents, but hasn't disclosed why yet. As a result, she tends to avoid places like the post office or the police station near her and Alyss's house.

Vitium is terrified of embarassing himself in public. His anxiety is bad enough as it is, and he dreads to think of how he would react in such a situation
And also spiders. No sane animal should have that many legs or such weird fuzz.

Len is kinda fearless actually, only getting kinda scared when playing jumpscare games with Alyss or Vii.


Do they have a certain system they go through before going to bed?
Pandora has to check every lock in the house (including the window locks!) at least twice. He has some very valuable glass works in his houses, and really doesn't want someone to come in and break/steal them. He also checks on Deimos too, making sure that he's at least in his room and bathed before heading to bed.

Deimos, like his father, checks all the locks in the house. But for a entirely different reason. He doesn't want any weird mountian people breaking in, especially after that one incident with a broom, spanish-speaking intruder and his bedtime zebra cake. He likes having a sweet snack before he sleeps too, in hope that they'll eventually lead to him putting on some weight. (He's too skinny for his age, the poor cutie)

Alyss grabs Púca and just smuggles her on the couch until they both get all sleepy and end up stumbling back to their bed for real sleep.

Púca has pretty much the same rituals as Alyss, though she'll go and check all the locks and doors before going to bed. Gotta keep the family safe ya'know?

Vitium closes his shop around his bedtime, so he goes through his regular store-closing deal before actually going to sleep. He also shuffles Len off to bed before him, being the good half-uncle-caretaker dealy do he is.

Len just falls asleep. No big rituals for him unless Vii asks him to help close up the bookshop



Do they have a job? If so, what is it?
Pandora works as a stained glass restoration expert. He also appraises the value of paritcualr pieces, and often drags his son with him on such business trips.

Deimos's only job is to feed the sparrows that live nearby their house. He gets a small allowance each week in addtion to the fifty-cent piece he gets every day for feeding the little birds.

Alyss works as a video game tester for a small indie games studio hosted near her house, and sometimes enters video game competitons with betting pools on who will win. She gets good money from both jobs, and is able to provide a comfortable life for her dependent pups.

Now Púca is the odd one out in her flock. She has a very regualr job with a very big paycheck... except nobody is really certain what this job is. She can dissapear for days, or even weeks at a time, but always comes home with new trinkets and a large sum of cash for the family emergency account.

Vitium owns a little bookshop in Alyss's town, and also writes children's stories. He's not very well known in the publishing world, but he gets enough in royalties to live a pretty decent life.

Len is still a puff fluff, and gets money from Vii for finding cool rocks and stuff in his daily explorations outside.

The theme song for Pandora is a Thirty Seconds to Mars instrumental called Pyres of Verasenai

Deimos has a K-pop song called Fantastic Baby by the group BIG BANG. (We dont't have a url for it right now, sorry!) It fits his punk little fluff butt so well, and it's so jammin owo

Alyss's song is Icarus by Bastille. It kinda fit her way back in her puphood, though we think ti's going to change to match her maturity better soon.

Púca's song of choice is the Nigtbreed Ttile theme by Danny Elfman. It's a creepy score from a creepy movie, and she's kinda a creepy gal. It just kinda fits.

Vitium's song is I need You from the Free! Ever Blue sounds CD. It's very gentle and romanic sounding, just like him and it fits even better now than it did way back when we first adopted him.

We actually haven't picked a song for Len yet! We're kinda stuck between a couple at the moment, and the way we've been building his personality really isn't helping at the moment owo


What annoys them beyond all belief?
Pandora really hates stray pieces of dirt. Like dairt that gets in the house, a straycrumb sitting on the table... it just bothers him so much. He gets all agitated and upset until the offending dirty thing is taken care of.

Deimos can't stand jazz music. The lack of a beat of any sort really bothers him, and he simply destests the sound of a saxaphone.

Alyss gets annoyed when people don't take her seriously while gaming. Sure, her voice might be a little high, and she's a touch pudgy from doing the whole mom deal, but she can whoop just about anybody's butt in a game. People not taking her seriously get pwned so bad, she usually never sees/encounters them in multiplayer ever again.

Púca gets annoyed at stupid things, like the fact that the front door has trouble closing when its humid or raining. Its a silly little thing, but those little inconveniences bother her the most.

Vitium's big pet peeve is people or parra who put their open hardcover books down so that the spine is liable to crack or break. He really cares for his books, and doesn't like to see any of the ones in his shop being mistreated.

Len doesn't get annoyed at mcuh, being the little trooper he is! Also, anything that could possibly be annoyance inducing just kinda flies right over his head or bounces off. It's not that he's unemotional, he just isn't bothered easily.

We haven't figured out Deimo's sexuality yet! We're thinking he'll be Bi tho vuv

Alyss and Púca are in lesbians together, though Púca used to be Ace. (That all changed tho!)

Vii is Heterosexual, simply because he finds females more attractive. Men are fine, but not as fine as the ladies! B)

Len is too little to have a set sexuality yet!

Pandora is a half empty sort.

Deimos wants to know what the glass is filled with first, so that he can make the judgement based on that. If it's water, keep it far away.

Púca and Alyss are both half full sorts.

Vitium is a half empty sort.

Len sees it as half full.
