I sat high in a tree observing the shadows on the ground move when I heard the snap of a twig. I spun on my branch and spotted the culprit. A brown-haired girl that looked about 14 stood staring at the entrance to camp. I watched her carefully, wondering if she was a demigod. Omen crouched beside me staring as well but she wasn't growling which told me that the girl was not a monster. I quietly slipped down the tree, picked up a rock and threw it over the girl's head into the forest beside her. I wondered how the girl would react.

She quickly ducked."Hey! Who threw that?!" She carefully took her backpack off her shoulders. "I have a fishing rod and I'm not afraid to use it!"

Arowana blushed in embarrassment. "That was kind of a stupid thing to say..." She checked in her backpack quickly before looking back at the person. "Where am I? My Dad just dropped me off here for no reason. He said something about a camp?"
