After the death of his beloved pet bunny, a certain scientist began extensive research into creating the perfect pet-one that would never have to die, no matter how old it got. He succeeded- perhaps a little too well. Boniburrs, often just called "BonBons," are completely immortal. Not only that, but they reproduce asexually- and very often. Their numbers are already increasing exponentially.
It's quite worrisome... but hey, they sure are cute!

• You may own as many as you'd like •
• They normally reproduce asexually, but if you want, you can "breed" any two together with help from assigned scientists! •
• There can be a maximum of four colors on a Bon, not including eye color(s) •
• BonBons can rarely have five colors, but only if they also have some kind of fluff, like cheek fluff •
• They are all born as females, though it is not uncommon for them to identify otherwise •
• Most Bons adopted through the main thread here will have no edits- however, nursery BonBons very commonly have spontaneous mutations that result in line edits. •
• When a bon has a baby, it is referred to as "budding" •
