This is the thread for competitions to become part of staff for Pollux Pudding Dragons!

What is a Pollux Pudding Dragon?
A Pudding poly is a dragon-like creature that has a small resemblance to a cross between an African pygmy hedgehog,a Pangolin, and a dinosaur. They have a long neck and an armor-like shell on their backs that come in a variety of sizes and colors. They're omnivores and have their own preference for foods as some prefer plants over meat and vice-versa. Pudding polies also enjoy the occasional sweet or dessert, they seem to really enjoy the taste of pudding. All poly dragons have at least one element that determines what physical traits and powers they have.

Rules & Info.

◆These are ongoing staff contests! Staff will be added as we go, the contest will only temporarily end whenever slots are filled and will open whenever staff is needed again.
◆If you are not chosen the first time you can try out again but please do not post the same form over and over.
◆It is preferred that staff have a skype so it's easier and quicker for admins to contact you but it isn't required.
◆Please only try out if you're really interested in being a member of staff, not just for the customs.
◆Check to see if the position is open before posting a form.
◆Please read all of the info for the position you're trying out for!
◆Follow the main thread rules

For all staff positions

◆Anyone that is part of staff may be removed from staff if they are inactive for more than 3 months (without stating beforehand they will be inactive)and will receive a pm stating the reasons.
-This does not apply to growth artists, nursery artists, and judges if growths, breedings, or judgings are unneeded.
◆Please make sure to be fair and unbiased, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me on skype or through pm.
◆All staff may have up to two customs, one when they join staff and the other once it has been earned. The number of customs may increase for staff as the species grow as well as slot raises for everyone.
◆Customs must be made in the staff color ins center

◆Artists will mainly judge smaller competitions but if they want to judge/help judge their own larger contests, they may.
◆Please do not make any first come first serve contests!
◆If you can, please try to design at least 3 Puddings per month
*I recommend trying to draw Pudding shells/scales first, there are a few short tutorials to draw the shells here if you have trouble!
By weaknesses and strengths in designing I mean what designs do you find easiest/hardest to make? Natural? Unnatural? Colorful? Stripes? Tribal? etc.

Why would you like to be an artist? These species are super cute and I think it would be fun to work for a newer adoptable.
Do you have a skype?: No, I have had a lot of trouble with Skype a few years back and may not use it again...
What are your strengths in designing?: I would say that if I get inspiration it would be the colouring part. If I have free time I always want to colour and draw.
What are your weaknesses in designing?: Drawing mostly because I don't have my mouse and am just using the laptop pad...but other than that I always strive to learn new tricks and methods!

Do you have any experience being an artist for another Species?: As a matter of fact I have had the honour to work at a lot of adoptables. Many in which have moved on to other owners or have closed. I am currently working at Kitfeathers and they are a big success. I am very happy about that

Why would you like to be an artist? I think it would be interesting to design something for a species, especially for something that's not a humanoid character.
Do you have a skype?: Yes.
What are your strengths in designing?: Hmm accessories/patterns, I guess? I usually design things for humanoid characters, especially clothing, so I guess that counts toward accessories. Floral designs, spots, and more thematic designs.
What are your weaknesses in designing?: Thinking of a color palette. If you give me two colors, I know where to go and what matches with it, but otherwise I have trouble coming up with a palette that I like. Stripes, and usually anything with animalistic traits.

Why would you like to be an artist?track is almost over so i will have lots of freetime, not only that but i think the species is adorable and i would love to be a artist, seeing as i beleive my skills have greatly improved.

Why would you like to be an artist? I've been stalking this thread (the main one that is) ever since its been out and finally decided to try to become an artist

What are your weaknesses in designing?: I use a mouse to draw but I can do most designs but the two easiest designs of all, cheetah spots and tiger stripes

Why would you like to be an artist?
It looks like a wonderful opportunity to have a nice, fresh start! I recently began to feel the need to spread my wings and fly! I wanted to start in a new community and meet new people, maybe make some new friends. I just left the foxerfly community, being an artist for the species for over one year.
Do you have a skype?:
Yes, I do! Two actually, though one is a back-up. I have it installed on my phone and its always turned on. The account on my phone is Brookie.Monster5 and my back up is Magicmunster.
What are your strengths in designing?:
One of my strengths is that I can design using a track-pad, mouse and a tablet! I can always come up with new designs and I do my best to create adopts that I think everyone would like. Another strength is that I can spend hours designing and I barely get design block. I love to design and I adore this species. I can do all kinds of designs but tribal is a bit hard for me so it might take me longer to work on the design! :3
What are your weaknesses in designing?:
I guess not having a tablet anymore to make more complex designs like I used to is a weakness but I still do my best when designing. Sometimes I can be a bit lazy with designs and make them simple but who hasn't done that before? ^v^

This was a result of a breeding that I did. I made them with a mouse and it was really fun.
One I made before my tablet pen broke.
I love themed adopts and this guy was based off of neverland. He was one of my most popular designs in the foxerfly community!
Do you have any experience being an artist for another Species?:
I do! One of my very first times I got to be an artist for a species was for the JBD adopts. It was years ago and I have improved a lot since then. My most recent experience was with Foxerflies, another cute species with a wonderful community! I also was a nursery artist for Jmds, it wasn't too long.

Why would you like to be an artist? I love designing. I dont have to much free time atm but my schedule is getting clearer and clearer as i near the end of school. So! :3
Do you have a skype?: Sadly i do not, but i do have a Google Hangouts (pretty much a free skype :3)
What are your strengths in designing?: hmmmm, i dont know really. Blending colours and swirly square, and alot of designs X3

I love making line edits, and I usually use unnatural coloring
and I will do a few tribal designs and stripes here and there.

I can't use pressure, and I don't remember the last time I

Because these adoptables are super adorable and I've always wanted to become an artist for an adoptable! This looks like a wonderful opportunity to try out for the artist role. I believe it'd be fun and a great way to meet new people!

What are your strengths in designing?:
Probably speckles/spots, color fades, and stripes. I also design using a tablet which helps me make the designs a bit quicker.
What are your weaknesses in designing?:
Some accessories I suppose. Also coming up with the colors to use in the beginning and then the theme to follow with that. I may also suffer from art block, but I'll always try to come up with something.

I think I am pretty good at more unnatural colors and designs. I like drawing stripes, spots, and I'm pretty good at fading colors into other ones.
What are your weaknesses in designing?:
I would say I can't make overly complicated designs, and I don't like natural colors as much, although I can definitely try.
