I heard thunder and immediately scurried and hid in a corner, clutching you, my precious notebook. Now we shall die together... I shall never again be able to eat chocolate... or nutella...
I looked up. A dog stood in front of me.
Me; EEP! NO WAIT! I TAKE IT BACK! I'M NOT READY TO DIE!
Darhk: You're weird... Do you need help getting home?
I hesitated, then nodded.
Me; I can't believe I'm saying this... but yeah actually I do...

I threw my backpack at him and he threw it back at me.

Yep. How embarrassing. I was being driven to my house by a stranger I hardly knew. With his brother that I just met... Congratulations Kiana, your stupidity blinds everyone.
Darhk: So... uh... why are you so afraid of storms anyway?
Me; Well... uh...
I blushed and looked down at my backpack.
Me; I-it's a long story...
Darhk stared at me and I turned my head.
Darhk: You don't have to tell us.
Darhk's brother: (I think his name was Bythe?) ARE YOU KIDDING? OF COURSE SHE HAS TO TELL US!
Bythe swerved around a corner and I fell against Darhk.
Me; Oh... erm.. sorry..
Darhk: D-don't worry about it...

Me; Well... the reason I'm afraid of storms is... because they're scary!
That's actually not the real reason. The real reason is that when the curse was placed on me, It was a stormy night...

Bythe chuckled and drove off, nearly hitting a trashcan with his amazing driving skills. I shook my head, smiling softly. Then, acting quickly, I unlocked the house door, ran upstairs and OH MY GOSH MY SISTER IS STANDING RIGHT THERE OH GOD HELP ME PLEASE!
Me; Oh... h-hi Bella didn't see you there...
Bella; Kiana...
Oh help me please...
Bella; Play with me.
Mom; Oh Kiana's home? Cause she was supposed to unload the dishwasher three months ago!
Bella; And you promised to play with me.
Mom; And she promised to clean the entire house!

Me; OKAY! I GET IT!!
My mom and sister stopped yelling and stared at me like I was the one ordering them around.
Me; Look I have had a VERY LONG DAY with DETENTION because I COULDN'T ANSWER a PROBLEM NO ONE IN THE UNIVERSE COULD HAVE ANSWERED and A COMPLETE STRANGER DROVE ME HOME but APPARENTLY YOU DON'T CARE and I"M GOING TO MY ROOM!!
I stormed off to my room and slammed the door. Ugh. Lately my mom and sister have been ordering me around like a housemaid. At least housemaids get paid!
My phone buzzed and I checked the texts.

Unknown number: HELLO KIANA!
Me; Who is this?
Unknown number: It's me Darhk. You gave me your number, remember?
Me; ...
Me; I never gave you my number...
Unknown number; Oh. Well here it is!
Me; Okay then?

I heard someone knock on my door.
Me; GO AWAY!!

Me; Hey Darhk?
DarknessIsRising; Yes?
Me; Would you uh... mind picking me up?

Silence. I shrugged then put my phone down. Guess I'd just run away for a bit.
My phone buzzed. I picked it up.

DarknessIsRising: YES OMG I'LL BE THERE
DarknessIsRising: YES I JUST GOT ASKED OUT!
DarknessIsRising has changed his relationship status to: Dating
DarknessIsRising; Hello?
Me; Ugh you're hopeless.
Me; No my family is being stupid and I need to get away from them.
Me; Can you pick me up about a block away from my house?
DarknessIsRising; oh..

I facepawed myself then packed a change of clothes. You never know .
