Personality:
As an adolescent, Nuka is shown to be an unappreciated bully whose only concern is to be loved and recognized by his mother. Rejection seems to take a heavy toll on the young lion, making him resentful of his brother for being the chosen one and downgrading of his mother behind her back. Perhaps because his accomplishments go unrecognized, Nuka feels the need to be powerful, taking great pleasure in bullying his younger siblings and boasting about his own capabilities to their faces.
History:
Nuka is the oldest son of Zira. He is considerably older than his two younger siblings, appearing first as a 'teenager' while Vitani and Kovu are still cubs. Sometime in between the events of The Lion King and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, he was banished to the Outlands alongside Zira and the rest of Scar's followers. Despite being the oldest of Zira's children, he is neglected by Zira in favor of Kovu, Scar's chosen heir

Motai grumbled and followed after the small cub. He picked him up once more an went back inside the cave. "It's late kovu, maybe tomarrow" Motai told him.

Kopa trotted through the grass, his tail held up in the air like a proud flag. "This is so much better than sitting in the den!" He exclaimed, grinning. He spotted a mouse scurrying though the grass, and the young cub promptly gave chase, growling at it playfully.

Nuka sat itching his pelt at termites. "Go away termites!" He exclaimed. He stopped and yawned and continued itching. "Give me a break termites!" He moaned.

"But motai.... I wanna explore...." He whined. He looked up to his half brother and loved him. "Will you go with me then, Motai?" He asked pitifully.

(Motai and kovu arnt siblings, only Nuka is his half brother cause they share the same father)

Motai blinked and sighed. "Fine fine but only for a little bit" he looked over at Nuka. "If you go roll around in the mud for a bit it should kill them and keep them off of you.. Well ACTUALL after a mudd bath go roll around in some marigold I believe they don't like the fragrance" Motai informed his half brother.

I lie down, my side pressed against the cool, stone wall. "When you're a cub on the run, you'd be surprised what you can find." I reply, not bothering to explain further at the moment.

Xiomara :: Outsider

Xiomara walked over to where Motai was sitting watching young Kovu explore. She gave him a soft nudge with paw before sitting down next to him. They sat in silence for a while, both getting comfortable again with the other one being there.
"You okay, Motai?" Xiomara asked softly. Knowing all too well what it is like to be shunned by parents, the older female was worried about the poor kid. Zira was kind to him in her own twisted way, but not in a way that he needed right now. She knew she couldn't fit the role of his mother but maybe work her way into that of his friend.

"Huh!.. Oh I'm fine.. Other then my mother abandoning me and her new mate killing my father.... Hurts.. Really hate it.. Yet I don't hate Simba or any of them.." He shrugged. Motai blinked still watching kovu. "Zira has been really kind to me though. Taking me in and care for me as if I was her own cub... But maybe it's not me she loves maybe it's the fact I'm a cub of scar.. I don't understand love.. And kinda don't really care about it..." He told her his pale blue gaze locked on to kovu.

"You don't care, huh?" Xiomara looked down at the young cub with disbelief in her eyes. "And I think you do understand love, little one, you just don't know that you do. You watch over young Kovu and protect him. That is love."
