Some Extras...
Comet is a boy who loves to look at the stars in the night, and looks out especially for comets/shooting stars. He is keeps to himself, and lives in a hideaway in the forest, filled with knowledge of stars, planets, and the rest of space. He owns a very high tec telescope, and likes to count and name the stars in the sky. Since he lives away from the city, he sees many stars in the sky with no lights to hide the shy balls of gas. But lately, he has been going to the city quite a bit. He often visits the library, and reads books on stars and space he hasn't yet read. He hopes to find some friends with his interests, and adventure the night sky with them.
【Hi, I never owned a paint wolf before and hope Comet can be my first!】

"You gotta come with me! We're the last ones left!"
-----Out in Canis Minor, there is a star named Gomeisa. Orbiting this star are two planets, the first of which is named Gomeisa 1. The residents of this planet liked to call their sister Gomeisa 2, but that is not that planet's official name. It is Mizuxe.
-----The natives of Gomeisa 1 had 2 main civilizations- a more technological, logical, down to earth society that was highly inventive, and another that focused on the cosmic, spiritual, and divine. The Inventors had the glowing eyes common to all Gomeisans (Gomeisa 1 was dark) and glittery paint to reflect light, but otherwise looked like Earthlings (apart from their standard-issue hearing enhancing headbands). The Diviners, however, looked rather different. They had long ears to catch divine whispers, glowing eyes, and star-shaped tails with glowing paint. They were the astronomers, astrologers, fortune-tellers, preachers, and artists. And their predictions were always spot-on.
-----So, it was rather a shock when the Diviners one day announced that Gomeisa 1 would come under attack from Gomeisa 2.
-----The sister civilizations of Gomeisa 1 were very peaceful, and while they knew of Gomeisa 2, they barely ever interacted with their sister planet, preferring to be self-sustaining. When Gomeisa 2 sent travelers, however, they were welcomed with open arms. But, well, the Inventors who were the Governors elected to ignore their words about joining the Mizuxe Empire, which the travelers spoke of tersely in the first place.
-----So why was Gomeisa 2 attacking? The Governors waited uneasily for signs of activity from their sister planet, regularly consulting the Diviners. One of the Diviners was young but gifted, a girl named Arayis Stellaris. The Stellaris family was a whole line of gifted Diviners.
-----She spoke of the ground itself being torn asunder, and fire in the sky. Her prophecies were the most grim of all.
-----The Governors hoped this was somehow a joke, but Arayis's abilities were well known.
-----And then the fateful day came.
-----The armies of Gomeisa 2- no, Mizuxe, rained fire and death on Gomeisa 1. Arayis cowered in the midst of a crumbling temple, biting her lip as more explosions and earthquakes went off, and windows shattered. Voices whispered divine instruction in her ear. Go outside.
-----She ran outside, dodging shrapnel and falling rubble. The stars guided her in faint whispers. Run toward Central Tower. You can escape. Go, Arayis.
-----She sprinted, shoving aside some confused looking civilians, mostly Inventors. There were escape pods. Small, mostly prototype spacecraft. It would have to do.
-----She weaseled her way past some Inventors shoving a toddler in an escape pod and vaulted herself into one of her own. Immediately the hatch shut her in, and the pod started to wire her into its stasis and life support systems.
She hit autopilot, find nearest planet, and launched into the sky as another explosion went off, opening a yawning chasm in the ground.
-----She would survive, the stars whispered. She would survive.
-----Arayis spent most of her journey in the ship in stasis-induced slumber, hibernating while the ship kept her vitals stable. However, she made a point of periodically waking up to check the ship's readings. No planet. No planet. Planet nearby but unfit for life.
-----And so it went for a few months, until one day she awoke to find the ship had found a suitable world. She engaged the landing process, and the ship unwired her from life support. Immediately her stomach yearned to be filled, and she grew dizzy from thirst.
-----When the hatch opened, she emerged like a crazed animal.
-----...This planet had bright sunlight streaming to the surface, and a far thinner atmosphere than Gomeisa 1's murky clouds. She wheezed, staggered, and began the trek to find food.
-----She was shocked to see a Diviner and an Inventor sitting at a campfire, and they turned to gaze at her in equal shock.
-----"The survivor I said would appear!" the Diviner squealed, waving his tail toward her.
-----The Inventor, who was dismantling her civilization's beloved standard-issue headband for parts, merely grunted and continued working.
-----"Welcome, Sister," greeted the Diviner. "I knew you would come. We may very well be the last of our kind, and we need to stay together."
-----Arayis stayed with the survivors, and more kept arriving as the days passed, each with their own ship. The entire fleet of pods was accounted for eventually. Except Pod 24, which never turned up. But the other 49 each arrived with a refugee, Arayis's Pod 13 among them. 49 survivors from Gomeisa 1.
-----They constructed a village they named 49, in honor of the fact that they were, presumably, the last 49 Gomeisans left. While the Diviners and Inventors had lived side by side on Gomeisa 1, they had never lived this close together and intimately before in such a mixed settlement. It took time for them to mesh together as closely as they did in 49, but it eventually happened even though the two races were inclined to keep to their own.
-----49 was a small and solemn village, but it was united, peaceful, and loyal to its own, and Arayis was proud of both herself and her 48 comrades. As months passed, several newly formed couples announced that they were with child, and 49 breathed a sigh of relief. They could repopulate. However, it was odd to see Inventors and Diviners interbreeding. What would result?
-----Arayis stood on a hill one day, watching the flying monkeys soar into the rising of the 3 moons (the Gomeisans had decided to be nocturnal since they were better equipped for darkness). The wind gently rustled her fur...when the voices came to her ears after months of near silence.
49 will fall under attack.
-----She ran back to 49 with visions of fire and destruction like on Gomeisa 1, and screamed to her people. However, none of the other Diviners had heard voices or had visions, and they dismissed her. Had they forgotten she was a young Stellaris prodigy?
-----So she felt horrible sadness and rage as the fire rained down one night, and the youngest of the 49 screamed in terror, and the eldest tried to flee with as many other survivors as possible, or they lay trapped and dying from old bones and smoke.
-----So Arayis ran, and the voices guided her as they did before, guided her toward the ships.
Pod 13 was one of the few remaining operational escape pods.
-----Sobbing, she popped the hatch and jumped in, pounding the controls.
-----Find Pod 24.
-----Find Pod 24!
-----FIND POD 24!
-----The ship blasted into orbit, tracking Pod 24's weak signal. It shot past Mizuxe bombers who had been sent to eradicate all escaped Gomeisans.
-----Find Pod 24.
-----Arayis let out broken sobs, praying to the infinite stars that there were other survivors from the bombing of 49.
-----But she was the only one to have run for the ship.
-----She spent months straight hibernating, preferring dreamless nothing to facing the reality of her second escape from destruction.
-----But eventually the voices woke with her a fevered chorus.
-----POD 24 FOUND. ORBITING SOL 3.
-----Arayis groggily activated landing procedures, aimed to land as close to Pod 24 as soon as possible.
She vaguely remembered someone mentioning their nephew had been shoved in a pod but never turned up again. Inventor. Small child. Pod 24.
-----She was seeking a male Inventor several years her junior.
-----And then she remembered the name of this nephew.
-----Ularo the Inventor. Pod 24.
-----She saw a skyline in the distance. This planet, Sol 3, was already inhabited. But Ularo couldn't have gotten far. He was still young, probably with a family from Sol 3.
-----Arayis would find him. The voices told her so. They're the last ones, and they have to stick together.
-----They had to find each other before Mizuxe arrived, and they had to leave Sol 3, preferably with Sol 3 technology so Mizuxe wouldn't tack them. They'd survive, somehow.
-----Repopulating was another matter entirely...but sticking together would be enough. The last survivors of Gomeisa 1. An Inventor and a Diviner, on the run together.
-----Arayis spared herself a sigh as she daydreamed.
-----The locals of Sol 3 seemed to prefer the name Earth.
-----Arayis is a very straightforward person. She focuses on the task at hand and follows linear steps. She is also very acutely tuned to the mystic energies of the universe, resulting in the voices and visions that guide her. She is very gifted even among the other Diviners. Due to her gift, she seems to accomplish feats of survival thought otherwise impossible, and she seems to have knowledge veiled from others. She blindly trusts the voices and visions, never questioning them. This may seem unwise, but those voices and visions led to Arayis surviving two genocides. She has no reason to have doubt.
-----She has a near obsession with finding Ularo the Inventor, and she rarely rests in her search. It helps that Gomeisans are rather hard to miss on Sol 3. Err, Earth.
