Lucille Katherine Reid was born to Markus and Hannah Reid. Her parents were both Spellcasters, and so Kat grew up with a vast knowledge of all things magical. When she was six years old, her mother died. Kat was devastated. She loved her mother, more than anyone else in the world. For a long time, she simply shut down. She withdrew into herself and even stopped talking for a long time. As she grew up, the grief turned into rage and thus began her rebellious streak. She became a very reckless and dangerous young woman... constantly getting into fights, both magical and non-magical. She was kicked out of her first three schools; Salem Witch Institute, Mahoutoko School of Magic, and the most recent, Beauxbatons Academy of Magic before finally being transferred to Hogwarts.

Kat wasn't exactly pleased with the prospect at first, but her father gave her an Ultimatum. If she got kicked out of another school, she would no longer be able to practice magic and would have to go to a human school. So, she sucked it up and agreed. Because of her past, she shirked her name and instead introduced herself as Katherine Reid, Kat for short. Surprisingly, she actually had a brain in that thick skull of hers and when it was applied to her schoolwork as opposed to scheming, she soon became one of the top students in her class. She also specialized in a special form of Magic called Animagus.

Kat's Animagus is, appropriately enough, a cat. A black cat to be exact with bright amber eyes and a strange, crescent moon mark on her forehead. In her human form, her Animagus Mark is a cute necklace she wears around her neck at all times.

She is either competitive, or overwhelmed by the mere thought of failure.
Karo is somewhat sour, cold, and egoiste. But when she meets anyone for
the first time, she always lets her sweet side and sense of humour show. If
she gets to know you better, this may continue, or turn the other way a-
round. Normally, she'd tend to the extremes, in any situation, rather than
staying in balance. She's often calm, even when she tries to hold in all her
hysteria. When she gets irritated, either she explodes, or she silently irra-
diates this feeling of displeasure, so intensely, it getscontagious. Her main
cause of distress are her over-exigent standards and self-demanding perso-
nality. She is a true hard-working Hufflepuff, who also knows when it's time
to relax and dance, draw, take a walk, have a good laugh, or a good read.

tarquin macarthur is the sixth-year ravenclaw prefect.
he comes from a wizarding family: his father is a muggle-
born wizard, while his mother is a half-blood. tar is the
oldest of three siblings. his younger sisters are both en-
rolled in hogwarts; one is a fifth year, while the other is
a third year. both of them are in gryffindor, like his pa-
rents were. tar is the only one in his family to attend hog-
warts and not be in the courageous house. while in other
families, tar might be branded as a coward, his parents
did no such thing; rather, they appreciated their son's in-
telligence, and were thrilled when he received the letter
proclaiming him prefect. in general, tar tries to stay out
of inter-house drama. unfortunately for him, as prefect,
he's inevitably caught up in it; while mostly successful in
his efforts to stick with his numerous friends and avoid
the worst of it, he sometimes ends up right in the middle
of conflicts like this one. the inter-house prefect war will
test tar's patience and generally friendly attitude. and be-
cause he's a ravenclaw, tar worries that it might end up
interfering with his studies. if anything in this crazy war
ends up setting tar off, it'll be just that - interruption of
his studies and his fast track to a job in the ministry. if
that ends up on the line, his house loyalty will be dubious
at best. as a true ravenclaw, knowledge comes first.
