Last summer, July 30th, My grandmother, My Nana, passed away after a 3 year long battle with lung cancer. She was one of the few ties I had left to my father, who has also passed. As some people know, the 'color' for lung cancer awareness is white. It used to be clear, signifying the air that wasn't there.... but it was too hard to see, so it's now been changed officially to white. The only completely white dog, that I know of, is the white feburary. So, Iv'e decided to start a hoard of them. My goal is 5. Hard to achieve, But I will not give up. I'm completely willing to trade for these pups, anytime, until my goal is reached. I may then extend it. Each pet will have a dressup theme, of some of her favorite things. She was an avid gardener - Roses/flowers, She loved hummingbirds - Hummingbirds/birds, She loved christmas - Snow/christmas, And she Loved yellow [in memory of my grandfather, who has also passed on] - Yellow flowers, suns, animals, everything yellow <3 I miss her dearly, and like most people who've lost a loved one, I would do anything to bring her back. If..... if anyone you know is in the battle with cancer, send them my best, and visti them often. I made the mistake of leaving when I noticed her decline.... and I missed it. I didn't have time to get to her house before she passed... even her pastor was there, but yet I wasn't. And I feel negligent due to that. I'm sorry nana, Sorry I wasn't there... Sorry I didn't understand... Sorry we didn't visit more often.... and sorry that this happened to you, of all people. I miss you, and I hope your in a better place now.

from my trade thread ^^ Iv'e decided to start a White feburary hoard in memory of my nana, who passed on july 30th. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and it was already to late. She's in a better place now, I would hope.

I'm now trading for any, and every white feburary I can find, until A. My goal is reached or B. I extend the goal and get that many.

I think after I collect one of every store pet (15 away from that goal) I will pick my favorite one/set and hoard it/them.
At the moment I'm thinking about hoarding the 2013 Store Rats, though I may wait until August, and see what those look like.

Just started hoarding every bunny on CS in honor of my deceased albino bunny, Snowball. I love them all to death. I started about 2 hours ago, and already have 130+ bunnies.

I have done something similar to this in memory of my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2009. He was in the RAF during the war so i thought this dog would be a fitting pet:



All i needed was a number.. a goal to achieve but then i remembered, he lived in a house in which the number was 41 and we had so many happy memories there so i chose that as a number for the hoard.

I have now completed my goal and wish you all the luck in the world with yours x

my hoards are unlimited, tho im currenting at 134 store rats (not includig a set for my collection) and 75 list rats (doesnt include the list rats as part of my collection)

tho my othre rare hoards arent doing well, im at 4 malk smileys, 4 BA and 4 August pps lions xD

the rest of my hoards are uncommon and under

i also starting to hoard the cs bday BBS dogs, and theyre slowly getting there ;.;
