2 hours passed, he laid on the floor, bloody, bruised, and scarred. Struggling to get up, he managed, limping out the door, and bolting down the stairs outside the facility. Transforming viciously, he made a pace and pushed through the forest, dashing into the group of Jax, Ember, Shay, and the others. Crashing into Jax, he fell limp, his massive body flopping aside into the thicket creating a loud crash.

She threw herself instinctively in front of Ember, pinning her ears back and peeling her lips into a viscous snarl, her eyes cold beneath the dim light as she glared at the tiger. Her tail thrashed madly, her claws digging deep into the ground. "Ben," she hissed through gritted teeth, the name like a curse rolling off her tongue. "Back so soon? I guess following protocal of the industry wasn't so efficient, was it? You better back off, before you end up with one less leg to stand on and ton of 3-9," she snarled, though the fae still took a fretful step back, glancing over to Ember's side.
"...Em, I had to go. I had to see if Alex was safe, if you'd make it out alright. I can't stand seeing you behind bars," she whispered dryly, her head hanging a little.

Ben stood up weakly, his back bleeding terribly, marks scarring his frame. He spat, "No. I ran away from that God forsaken Hell-hole." He laid down weakly, ignoring her vicious comments and remarks. Blood stained the grass and vegetation below, still spreading.

She hissed through gritted teeth, her claws digging deep into the ground. The guy had been her partner for six years, he knew her like the back of her hand...why would he do that to her?

She gave a soft sigh, tenderly reaching over and licking the tiger's wound, rasping her tongue over the thick gashes where a whip had been slayed. "...Why do you think I quit two years ago?" She murmured breathlessly, the coppery taste of blood thick in her mouth as she drew back, nodding solemnly at Ember. For a moment her pale yellow eyes lingered over the guy, hesitating.

He looked at Ben with disgust "You betrayed us, I don't care if the price was your life but you betrayed us, you helped the Industry torture Ember and then you could've helped us escape but instead you fought against us. When I first meet you I let you go into the camp to be safe from the Industry, we offered you help and as a price you betray us all" he turned around and limped with Ember towards where Nore was.

Alex
She looked scared at Jax. If he was telling the truth and Ben had helped the Industry he had helped then to capture and experiment with Ember and her. She looked at the tiger with a mix of fear,and fury. She turned around and followed Ember and Jax, he wanted to be as away from him as she could be. She looked back at Shay and Ben she didn't think she was going to be able to forgive him. She didn't know for sure he had helped to capture her but even if it was just Ember he had hurt him and she would never forget it.

She sighted "I know, you're right" she said forcing a smile "Let's go to Nore, she has to cure you" she said looking at his leg "You've got something, it hasn't been 2 days since you "fell" into the lake and now this" she said laughting softly

He turned up to Jax and spat then turned to Shay, "I can't quit." He shook his head helplessly, struggling to get up. "My family is in there. If I quit, they die. If they die, I can't live with myself. If I do something wrong, they ask me whether my family be punished or me, I always choose myself... I never know if they're alive or not.. I'm always punished, I'm always hurt, I always regret- I-I just... can't." He turned slowly and limped back to the industry. "I'm sorry." He breathlessly made his way back to the building, transforming on the way, grasping his shoulder with his hand, his shirt ripped and tore by the whip.

I tortured Ember three years ago, Jax!! I didn't know I was a Shifter then, I didn't know!! When you took me in, I gave it up!! I quit!! Back there, back there I decided I was gonna help save Alex, but guess what??!! She was just fine, she was outta there... Instead I found this guy-" she threw her head, gesturing torwards Ember, her heart throbbing. "-Behind bars, in an interrogation chamber!! Yeah, I had my old lab coat and mask on, but how else was I supposed to get into the Industry?? I never betrayed him!! That shot I gave wasn't a 3-9, Jax, it was a seven!! I gave him a mere human addict that wouldn't affect his body at all except for a few muscular side effects, which I honestly thought we needed!!! I took my taser and electrocuted those people just so he could get out, I had been undercover, Jax!! I gave you my ID card so we could escape!!!" She screamed, her throat aching as she dug her claws viscously into the ground, her ears pinned back against the but of her head. Her frail little body swayed for a moment, her eyes wavering as she drew out a whisper.
"...I betrayed you three years ago, I didn't betray you today."

She walked steadily down the old cobblestone path, her blonde hair in wisps about her face as she ducked beneath the overhanging branches, the bracken and thicket grappling at her grass stained jeans as she hiked through the brush. Her nose quivered, her sweaty palms clenching into fists when she caught onto the scent of blood, a bear trap slung to the side and glinting in the corner if her eye. Tufts of wolf fur were in the air, tiger, as well. For a moment she felt her heart drop, her stomach twisting in a sense of agony when she saw it...three men, laying limply to the side of the ground, rifles strewn across their chests. Horrified, she slumped down beside one of them, staring at his pale, white face...her father's face. That crooked smile he always had was gone, his lips chalked, his pulse nonexistent. "You...you were shot," she gulped, feeling a tear stream down her cheek, her heart wrenching.
...Yes, he was human. Yes, he was a man who had caged her, telling her she was a monster. Yes, he was a guy who couldn't love her after she had Shifted...but...he was her, her father. Her daddy. She clenched her jaw, hard sobs racking against her chest as she stared at him, dead. Erin sucked in a sharp breath, crying silently as she placed a tender hand across his heart, yearning for him to just, just wake up.
...Ember did this. His scent was everywhere, the gun wreaking of it... Ember killed him. Oh, and Ember, Ember would regret it all...
