I heard the shuffling of paws behind me long before the cub caught up to me. When she is already close by, I stop and without turning to face her I say, "Where are you going ? I can tell you right away that this isn't a good idea."

Tanaka relaxed slightly and smiled sheepishly, "Maybe that was a tad too much excitement for today," he quickly followed Asha back towards Simba and Nala. When Asha stopped to talk to the other she cub, he glanced over at the unknown cub and noticed that she too was a half-breed. He continued walking but could still hear their conversation. He tried not to let the words get to him. Sure he hasn't fully a lion, but he was raised by this pride and they accepted him and didn't abandon him. Was it really a big deal that he was a half-breed?

He turned his head and watched as the young cub ran off towards the border, but he shrugged is off and put on a smile for Nala and Simba when they reached them.

"You should of seen tanaka there was this lion and he was really brave!" Asha exclaimed. While she hogged the conversation with the outside she believed tanaka did great standing his ground and not running.

"Another lion?" Simba said alarmed. "Scar?" He asked. He didn't know of the exact whereabouts of scar was bru he hadn't seen him since that fight.

"No.. Someone almost as bulky as you Simba!" Asha said.

Nala narrowed her eyes. "Alright from now on stay close to pride rock no more ventureing to the border" the queen said, she nudged the two onwards. "We should warn the others.." She told Simba.

Simba nodded "yea we should shouldn't we?.."

Zara popped her head above some of the taller grass. Her bi-colored eyes shining in the light. Keeping her gaze firmly in Ramses she exited the grass. "Sometimes bad ideas can turn into good ones." She replied with a shrug. She didn't know why she wanted to follow this lion but she was here now and she wouldn't let fear stop her.

I turn around, my claws unsheathed as most of the time and my eyes flashing. "What's your name ?" I ask, starting to be curious about this cub. She was probably more stupid than brave for coming after me, but it could always be the other way round.

Zara's eyes zeroed in on Ramses claws. They were long and glistening, though she get the looked smaller in the eyes of larger lions than herself. Cocking her head she sat down. "Zara." She replied unsure how much to give away. "Where are you going?" She asked curiously.

"Hunting, prey is scarce and I haven't eaten in days. But a cub is better than a scrawny mouse any day " I reply, looking down at her.

He woke up and wiggled out of his mothers arms without waking her and walked outside the cave careful not to wake motai or vitani

Motai was actuLly awake. His eye opened when he felt little kovu jump out of his mothers arms. The cub was young.mwhere did he think he was gong? Reluctant to let him go alone Motai got to his paws letting out a huge yawn and followed him out.
