Redpaw flopped over onto her back, "They should've said something, at least." She muttered under her breath, "Can we at least find a place to stay? I'm tired of being all nomadic."

"Soon," Bracken said, curling her claws. "I trust our rulers will show us the way. Why don't you practice your moves?"

Bracken stood to her paws, claws sliding out. "Then learn it."

Redpaw judged her distance to the nearest tree, and backed towards it, eyeing Brackenleaf's position, she unsheathed her claws as well. She backed against the wall, sprang, but did not land close enough to Brackenleaf. She tried again, her paws scraping the tree, and landed in front of the older cat, embarrassed, she went to try again after failing the technique twice.

Bracken sighed. "You're not ready. It's advanced. We'll start training in earnest when we're...set up."

Redpaw raised an eyebrow, "You're not going to punish me for not being accurate?" She pointed out, she was used to the cruelest of training now from her dreams of the Dark Forest
