Zara heard voices to her left and decided she had left herself enough time for pity. Rising to her paws she crept along the brown grass, unsure if these voices belonged to friend or foe. The young hybrid found herself facing two cubs about her age and an adult lion. Gasping she knew theses odds weren't good, she heard the name Simba and it rang a bell. The was the king of the Pridelands, the male her father was trying to take her to before he died. Stepping out of the long grass her bi-colored eyes narrowed, she didn't know why but sometimes her confidence got the best of her. "Leave them alone." she growled.

@vaus - dunno just have him stumble onto someone, or make an intro post and see if anyone will itneract.

Asha flicked her ears towards Zara she looked like an inbetween breed of a tiger and lion just like tanaka they all seemed to be around the same age she looked back up at ramse "nope never heard of you and don't care to.." She flicked her ears at the sound of Nala the queen calling her name. "We have to go you better make yourself scarce... The pride don't take fancy to stuck up outsiders trying to be scAry towards cubs" the young she cub told him, she nudged tanaka off towards the sound of Nala.

(Well since kovu is still very young he can be playing in the cave where Motai is as)

"It's always amusing when the side without any chance of winning act like they have the upper paw." He said with a grin, turning around and walking back into the outlands.

Ashanlet out a bread sigh. She smiled down at Tanaka. "Was that thrilling enough for you mr 'it's boring here'"she teased. "We should head back though I heard Nala call.." She told him. She looked to the other cub. "Umm.. You better come with us for now.l. It's dangerous around the borders, and try not acting like a hero next time" Asha scolded softly. She then turned back to tanaka and smiled and lead the way back.

Motai was laying in the cave where Zira kovu and Vitani was. "I saw my mother to day... She looked like she was afraid to come across me..." Motai said a in a pained voice.

Zira looked at the young cub where where much bigger then the two in her paws they where of course a few months younger then Motai. She licked the head of kovu and Vitani each in turn befor speaking. "Don't worry yourself with that stupid lioness, she is young and foolish.... But.. She did love you..to be honest she probably was just afriad because who your father was..." Zira admitted willing tell say the truth to the cub if it eased his mind.

Motai looked up. "Afriad of who my father was...what was wrong with scar?" He asked his full attention on her.

Zira narrowed her gaze. "He was just less favored in the pride.. Once his brother died he took place as king.. As Simba the formar heir had ran away after his fathers death..." She explained.

Motai narrowed his gaze. "I see... I wish father was still around... He would still be here for me if he was right?" He asked.

Zira smiled. "Of course, get some rest cub, you've had a long day" she told him. Motai smiled and walked over and curled up beside Zira.

Kovu
When his mother licked his head he curled into her and Vitani more slightly waking up.

Zara held her tongue from the comeback that almost slipped out. She didn't like this cub scolding her, yes they were the same age but she could bet that the young hybrid had seen more than this Prideland cub. Giving a cool shrug she looked away from the female and towards the male, he looked kinda like her but golden. "Your a half breed aren't you?" she asked.

"He's not not half breed he is a pride member and that's all that matters" Asha said in defense. Zara probably didn't mean to be offencive but Asha sure found it that way. "Either your coming or not we can talk later" she said and walked after tanaka she seemed happy when Simba and Nala came in to view "we are over here!" She called.

Nala heard as has voice and turned around "oh Asha, I'm so glad you two are safe..." She scented another and looked around. "Is someone with you?" She asked.

Zara took a step back at the other Cubs harsh words. Did she not realize that Zara too was a half breed, why would she make fun of someone who is basically just like her. Narrowing her eyes she let out a small growl. "If everyone is as snippy as you in the Pridelandes than who cares about it! My father died bringing me to this crappy place" she didn't like this female anymore, patronizing and rude Zara wouldn't be a Pridelander if this cub was. Turning on her paws she passed away from the two cubs just as the older lions came into view.

She didn't know where she was going but with a shrug she decided to try and stalk the male lion that was originally speaking with the Cubs. She knew she probably shouldn't but he seemed strong, like her father. He hadn't gotten far when she found his shadow.
