princess red leaves wasn't always as silent as she is now. in fact, out of all six pups in her family, red leaves spoke the most. when she was born, her parents, lady flame and lord alaric, had named her princess whisper. it was quite ironic, considering her voice back then was anything but one. she had four brothers: prince phoenix, prince casper, prince blaze, and prince spirit. they were only two females, including red leaves, and her sister: princess echo. the family had been royalty. the rubellas were a prestigious family, known for their fiery red pelts. the first rubella, lord phoenix, had formed and stregthened the blood moon pack, until the alpha position was ready to be given down to his eldest son, lord blaze, who then gave it to his eldest son, and so on. for red leaves's family, prince phoenix was to be the one to take the throne, but tragedy struck, and the blood moon pack exists no more. the pups started their training at a very young age for two reasons; one, the pups were too restless in the den and their parents had to find a way to occupy them, and two, there were rumours going around about a group of rogues who were set to kill each and every least rubella. it was a precaution, just in case the rogues got past the guards (which was highly unlikely) and the pups had to defend themselves. princess red leaves was phenomenal. she was a quick-learner, and never spent more time then needed to learn a skill. alas, red leaves had to use everything she'd learned much too soon. the pups had just turned one year old when red leaves caught an unknown scent on the wind. her parents knew what it was, so they simply let her go follow it, since it wasn't anything too dangerous. when red leaves came back, she choked. her family lay at her paws, throats torn open, their eyes staring at nothing. prince phoenix was nowhere to be seen, but red leaves assumed he was captured by the rogues. the princess had no time to feel grief. all she felt was fury. she was in no state of mind to be making any decisions, but red leaves had a purpose. destroy those who killed her family. there were none of her pack mates around, so red leaves easily slipped out of camp and followed after the rogues. surprisingly enough, they hadn't gone very far. wolf blood still adorned all five of their muzzles, which only angered the fae even more. all she could see was red. princess red leaves cannot say if she regrets what she did. after her teeth had sunk into the last of their necks, red felt nothing. no pain, no remorse. just... emptiness. a loner, who went by the name hawk, found her standing among the pile of bodies, her teeth stained red and her fur bristling. he was not horrified. on the contrary, he seemed excited. he taught her his ways, the ways of an assassin. princess red leaves continued to kill, and murder, and assassinate. she did everything hawk asked of her, because he was the only one she had left. he taught her to be quiet when you're stalking, how to be as silent as possible. he passed soon after, but red leaves remained the same. she killed anyone who broke pack law, and any other killers like her. when she stumbled across this pack, she was set to kill one of the traitors. but another wolf found her, and she had no choice but the join, or they would have suspected her of something. no one knows of her title, as she had only intoduced herself as red leaves, red, or death.

prince phoenix should not have the rank of an omega. his cowardice and fear has been developed over years of having to live on his own, and meeting death at just about every corner. originally, prince phoenix was to become the next alpha of the blood moon pack, after his parents, lord alaric and lady flame, retired. he had five siblings: prince blaze, prince spirit, prince casper, princess echo, and princess whisper. his training was more intense than his siblings', but soon, his youngest sister, princess whisper, started training with him. she was great at everything, and prince phoenix realized she would be a better alpha than he. his parents, along with the elders of the kingdom, were thinking the same thing. still, they continued training them both to be alphas. a little after they turned a year old, a group of rogues invaded camp. they had somehow managed to make it past the whole kingdom, and were now set to kill the whole royal family. one of the guards swept up blaze, since he was still the successor, and ran. he ran until his legs couldn't carry him anymore, but they were a safe distance by now. prince phoenix cried. he cried, and cried, because he knew his family had been slaughtered. he was the only one left now. he lived with the guard for a few moons, until one day prince phoenix got up late into the night and ran away. there wasn't much he could have done, and managed to survive on his own. he became more skittish, more fearful. he wasn't an alpha anymore, he was a coward. the truth is, it didn't both him much, because at least this way he was safer. when he joined this pack, he didn't even protest when they gave him the rank of an omega. he also omitted the 'prince' part of his name. he deserved it, and after what had happened to him, he knew he would never be able to be of any help to a pack ever again. he has no idea that princess red leaves is his sister, and neither does she know that that's her brother.
