Currently I just have one Mkali, Lady Grey aka Lacy.


Doesn't have great health stats but at least she's pretty! 8D
(But she won't be breeding with any males with health stats higher than 2 anyways, because if she has pups I'd like them to be decently healthy)

I think I tend to weight the coat a bit more. Good health stats are nice but in my eyes Mkali with bad stats are lovely, too. Ok, that might affect competitions but no one knows how much, at the moment. (No rush, canis ) And honestly when I look at a Mkali I see the coat first and decide if I like this one or not. Only if I like it, I take a look at the stats - which may help to develop a character or a background. So, for me it's coat over stats.

What is more important for you, the coat colour or good health stats? When adopting, the coat is definitely more important to me. However when I go to breed my lovely darling, Im going to make sure the stud/dam has higher stats that way the pups come out better <3

I like to think coat color as bad stats can always be bred away so long as good parents are always brought into the lineage but it really depends for me xD If its a coat color that I don't see myself trying to breed for then it comes down to stats but if its the other way around where its a coat that I really want I try to ignore the stats even if they are bad c:

Health stats. I really like the idea of a competition aspect, and no design is every really bad-looking. Also, simpler coats are way easier to draw. :>
