"Hmm, yes that would be a shame, wouldn't it?" He chuckled, leading the way to the cafe. With his free hand Leon quickly checked that he did in fact have his wallet. He did. What luck he was having lately. A thought that made him snort softly under his breath.

Dachi Venero

"Ah, well trying to get any apprenticeship is difficult. I imagine he'll want to see some of the things I've made as well. Make sure I'm worth the effort of taking on." Despite the obvious possibility of rejection, Dachi seemed to have an air of confidence about him as he spoke. Any smallness or insecurity melted way during the conversation. Through his crafts, he was home. He had applied for many such things before, and in recent years had been getting much more positive responses, unfortunately there was always something, money or relocation usually, that stopped him. But there were always more opportunities, and it was easy to be optimistic with as much reaffirmation as he got from others.

The vampire seemed to catch this, very alert when it came to these. She gave a soft little laugh. "Well, I thought you were a small shy boy. But now you just seem arrogant." Cerise said, now completely joking. It was obvious it was something Dachi enjoyed, and he was good at it. Much like her love of books and poetry, it would be cruel to negate it.
