Trade Rant Thread

Yeah....i remember one trade where i found someone who was offereing on me and they had very rares that i wanted (which weren't even in a locked group) and i was a newbie, but i still had a decent amount of rares so i put one rare on and ask "what other rares do you want" and then like 5 mins. later a got a trade back with a message something like.
"YOU ARE SO STUPID! YOU ARE LIKE THE 8 PERSON TO MAKE AN OFFER ON ONE OF THOSE! THIS IS A SUPER UNFAIR TRADE AND I AM NOT TRADING THEM!"
i was thinking "wow, first, put them in a locked group or say something in the group about not for trade!"

I agree on the ninja trading stuff. I do try to trade for 18th pets, BUT I try to make it fair, though I'm awful at rarities. XD I would never purposely make a trade unfair though, that's awful ;3;

Hnn >-> About two seconds after I put my two pets up on the "Show Your 18th Pets", I get a trade on one, but I wanted the trade. I said that I wasn't a horse person, and that I'd willingly trade it to someone who offered a Red X. Thing was, they sent it with my VR pony and their Red X, plus an uncommon on my side and their side. I didn't want to get rid of the uncommon, so I edited, taking it out on both sides. The person was still on, so I thought I'd get an immediate answer so I could jump around in joy... but then they took the trade to the "Is This a fair Trade?" thread, and no ones wanted to anser... >-> Siiiiiiiiigh... Still waiting.

I honestly think that foeing is over abused, like do people seriously foe for every bad trade, and I've also seen mention of people foeing out of dislike of another person's views on non-CS matters... I don't know, but I don't have any foes and I hope to keep it that way! I try my best to use 'sorry' and 'thanks' and such in messages when I trade..

Good, we have an other sane person on CS. And yes foeing is overused, I think it might be partailly because foes can't trade with you. But still, it feel aweful knowing you've been foed and I also think it's overused.

Wasn't fair to them anyways. You should bump your post if you don't get a reply. I just saw 6 pages added to that thread within a minute it was going so fast.

I don't foe very often, and once I do, I usually take them off after a few months. It's mostly just to keep someone from pestering me over and over. >.o

A Little General Rant...

Well...I've sent probably about 100 trades for 18th pets..and, 4 have been accepted. In ALL of them, I ask them to EDIT/look through my pets, etc. But they all say, "Don't like it," or "don't like the offer."

Because of that, it's making my 18th pet finding a LOT harder, because of people's laziness.

Maybe they looked through your trades and didn't see something they wanted? I'll usually do that, and then cancel the trade with, "No thank you."

Also, I've seen a lot of people who say straight up that they won't look through groups. It doesn't seem rude or lazy to me. *shrug* Personally, I think it's up to the person sending the trade to make an enticing offer. I don't like it when someone sends a trade just asking, "HI plz edit!" or, "What do u want for this? " or something akin to it. THAT is my pet peeve. I don't go through the archive and bookmark every pet I want for the sake of my health, and I don't list the pets I'm missing in a trade thread for my health either.

Of course, this may be why I don't send a lot of trades. I usually just make a post in the trade thread and wait for 'em to come to me...

What I want to know is how people find me!!!! I long in everyday and there are like 6-8 trades of people i have never seen!!
