Dewpaw looked at the mouse and took a few bites, she was hungrier than she thought and was grateful he shared. She nudged it back to him "So that means they will be taking ours?" it wasn't really a question to him but one to herself. She let out a sigh before laying down next to him "Why couldn't they just go on the other side of their territory?"

Tigerpaw shrugged. "Dunno." he mumbled through a mouthful, "But i fell like prey is going to be scarce for everyone for awhile. We'll probably have to double up on patrols." He shuddered, thinking about getting up even earlier and hunting his own tail off for these cats.

The she cat seemed to read his mind "I refuse to get up before dawn to feed another clan. They seem capable of hunting for themselves." She muttered quietly.

Tigerpaw nodded, flexing his black glinting claws into the earth, tail lashing. The tom really did have his clans best interest at heart, but sometimes he let it get the best of him

he looked over at Flarepaw "I am Blazepaw" he mewed flicking his tail a bit of hostility in his eyes "I don't trust them" he thought keeping his mood calm and not what his mood was inside

Tigerpaw shook his fur, satisfied that the soot and ash stains had come out. He looked around, not exactly sure what he should be doing. His tail flicked back and forth.

Dewpaw sighed as she rested her head on her paws "We don't have a choice though, we are only apprentices." she mumbled. Spotting Blazepaw was talking to one of their apprentices she narrowed her eyes, hopefully there would be no fight but if the other apprentice would start one she would be there to help him.

Dappledheart smiled, gently scooting a paw closer to his. "I believe in your choice." she said, sweetly. "These cats needed help. We couldn't deny them of that. It was harder for Swiftstar to accept our help and ask for it than it is for these cats to make temporary friends."
