Yeah, I felt that before with Overture when I was switching to Poptart and Silver.
How I delt with it was that I let the feelings ebb away until I was confident that I could do it.

That, and Silver basically IS Oveture, but just as a different species with different markings. Perhaps just updating your sona will help?
