Lilly sighed and she walked down the streets of the hostile city. Lilly was half chimera, due to the taboo she attempted to bring back her brother with her twin sister. Lilly flicked her tail with discomfort as the people shot her hostile glares. She sunk her head and down and sighed, even in the office people judged her due to her cat ears and tail. She had no friends, most people didn't even recognize her existence or that she was still human.

ED:
They walked beside her. "I don't see how that's lucky..." he grumbled before grinning when she asked. "Of course I could! Winry Rockbell in Rush Valley! She's probably one of the best mechanics in all of Amestris!" he exclaimed. Maybe now she won't mooch all the money off of me! he thought to himself. Then alphonse stepped in. "Brother. Weren't we heading to rush valley next?" he asked. "Maybe she could come with us?"


Sam:
He walked down the street of a city that had been a big threat for gang violence. He grinned when he saw a familiar face. "Lily!" he called, waving a hand in the air. his lieutenant raised an eyebrow at this but otherwise kept her mouth shut.

[Captain Watanabe]

"Ah, hes not that bad! You just have to match your personality to work with his. Basic psychology!" Emerald was sort of into anything having to do with logic or explanations to things. She sighed at the offer to go to Rush Valley. She could use a few days off, and she really needed to get her legs working better, but she also really wanted to work. "I have a lot of work to do..." Someone Copper was bound to drill her about working to much again. "I can take three days off. Then I really have to get back to my books. Will that be enough time for her to evaluate and maybe fix me up?" Of course, Emerald was bringing her studies with her on the trip. Who needs clothes.

Ed:
He snorted. "Please. Like i'd change anything for that bastard. He should be the one changing his mood for me, not the other way around." "Brother..." Al said, sweatdropping. Then he laughed. "I'm sure she could. Winry's the best there is. She always takes any orders she can, no matter how rushed." he said. She always did for him anyway. "There will be rush fees of course, and I'll probably have to wait for you to get done before I have her look at mine..." He was laughing until a dark aura came over him. "She's gonna kill me." Al shook his head. "You did bust it pretty bad this time, brother."

[Captain Watanabe]

"It will help your outlook a lot." Emerald glanced back and smiled. She opened the doors to the office, finding only Havoc there, asleep in his chair. Emerald carefully worked around him to her desk. "If your report is written you can put it in his outbox. It js more likely he will see that way." She spoke softly as to not wake his coworker. "Rush fees are fine. I can pay. I'll take out some money before we go. How much does she charge?" Without asking, she started to hand the brothers a few books. "I think my maps are back at my dorm. I'll have to stop by there some times." The young alchemest seemed totally different when surrounded by her work. "I beleive confrence room 8 is open. I have the pages I would like you to look at marked with paper. I know some of them are fiction books, but they are based on real theories, which will help. I have small map sketches we will probably need, too. I have a few books I've strung together of my research and diary logs, if you think those might help." She turned to them after piling books and papers in her own arms, lowering her voice a bit more. "If you have any leads on the philosophers stone, please write them down in my blank book. Any little thing can help."

Ed:
He looked at the books with a raised eyebrow but shook his head when she said the conference room. "Too open. Conference rooms are watched far too closely. We'll need to take this somewhere more private. The rooms above the library usually work and we have closer access to books we may need. Fiction books normally are based on some truths so no suprise there. The dorms arn't too far from the library either so you can go there while I look over what you already have." He said calmly. Alphonse then spoke, "Winry doesn't usually charge too high and she'll probably give you a discount since your our friend. It won't be any more than the militarys." Ed snorted. "That's for sure. All the militaries mechanics are greedy money grubbers who charge way overpriced for their sloppy work." He said watching havoc mischeviously. Then he got a playful grin as he took the pack of cigarettes on his desk and placed them on hawkeyes, before dumping the report in the box. Then he turned back to her. "As for the leads, we'll have to make a deal." He whispered. "Anything you find related to it has to be shared with us. No secrets with it. Got it?"

"Alright. I'll need a place to hang maps up, though." Emerald glanced at Ed as he moved Havoc's smokes and sighed, taking a single one and putting it back on the mans desk. "He's my friend. I want him to quit, but he's my friend." She sighed. Sometimes it felt like her and Hawkeye were the mothers of the office. "Make sure to read my notes on page margins. I apologize if my handwriting is sloppy. When I have ideas I tend to write fast." She had labeled a book, and her handwriting appeared next to perfect. "The military isn't that bad. Though they do cause lives to end, they save others." Emeralds views of the military were a little mixed, due to family conditions. She eyed Ed as he spoke of the no secrets. This felt like a competition for some reason. "Deal. But if I get it first, I'm using it. Not to be selfish."

I have no friends, Lilly thought to herself until she heard her voice being called and it snapped her out of her thought, Well except for Sam the girl thought and waved, She gave him a eye closed smile and walked up to the coronel, "Good morning colonel," She greeted fast and stopped as she got closer. She flicked her tail and still smiled.

Sam:
"Good morning, major! I'd like to introduce you to some one." He signaled to his first lieutenant standing beside him. "This is 1st lieutenant, Hearth Terra." She gave lily a soft smile and offered out her hand to shake. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Grinning the Colonel continued. "She's been helping me get the paperwork to move you to my jurisdiction. " He had been working for a while to try to bring lily to his team so she wouldn't be judged. It had been a lot of extra paperwork but it would be done soon.

Edward:
He frowned when she moved the cigarettes but refeained from complaining. He did have some manners, after all. He sighed looking at her handwriting. "If this is sloppy, I must be a kindergartener." He joked. He nodded at her though. "There's tack board in the library too. You can use those." He kept his mouth shut about the military. He's been in it for several years and it seemed that the bad far outweighed the good, but he wasn't about to crush her beliefs. Not today anyway. There's too much work to be done. "Fine. I'd do the same." He said feeling the competitive spirit in the air. He turned towards the door. "Are we ready to go?"

Emerald nodded, picking a band off her desk and tying her hair back in a pony tail. She scanned over her desk, making see everything was accounted for. "We've got everything. I'll stop by my place, grab the maps and change. Here." She handed Edward sme money. "Help yourself to some tea, or whatever you'd like. Please get me the biggest cup of green tea you can. Extra sugar."
