Kiara laid down and ate the bird calmly.When she finished she looked up at him."Donte," she said softly.Her heart was being in her chest and she wasn't meeting his gaze.Her eyes focused on the bones of the bird, as if there was some message in them.

"Oh, okay." He jumped when Trip yelled at Storm. Then he let a smile on his face when he heard what Storm had said. He went into a happy mood knowing he would heal soon. 'It makes the healing quicker when your happy' He thought to himself.

Grim stood, shaking his fur out. "Now, Storm, it's my turn. Scarlet, go take a break for now." His voice was oddly soft when he spoke to Scarlet. He stepped into the center with Storm, who had dawned a look of puppy-like enthusiasm. Now, this is a challenge! She thought to herself. She had never fought a dog like Grim before. They circled for a moment, and both had begun to snarl and snap toward each other, making it seem almost real. Storm made the first move, as Grim knew she would, and tried to grab at his ear with her teeth. Grim dodged easily, and snatched her out of the air by her scruff. Storm spun her head around, snapping at his face, though she wasn't trying to hit him. She was distracting him. When he was focused on her snapping jaws, she kicked out at his head with her back paws, knocking his jaws loose and letting her dart off to the other side of the circle to regroup her plans. She lowered her head, turning to the side slightly. When Grim leaped at her, aiming for her neck, she turned her shoulder to him and deflected it. He hit his nose on her powerful shoulders, and was stunned, but only for a moment. A moment was all Storm needed, however, and she moved in for the winning move. A touch to the throat. Grim was ready for her, though, and when her neck was stretched out, he got her first. They were both panting by the end of it, and it took a while before they parted. Storm walked over to Arber's side, and flopped down onto her belly. Grim sat down where he was.

"Wow." He said in amazement, not knowing what to say. "You guys both did awesome." Arber hadn't fought in a while, and hoped he hadn't lost his touch.

[Crystal_Tigryphon]

Storm stopped panting, and turned to him. "You really think so? I should have known he'd expect that last move, though... it was clumsy of me." She shook her head, leaning back to lick at a small scratch on her shoulder where Grim had hit it.

Grim grabbed a large leaf, filling it with water and bringing it to Scarlet first, then going and grabbing another for Storm. He went back to drink from the small stream, thinking over the match he had just had with Storm.

"You did awesome." He told Storm. "I don't even think I could do that." Arber saw the scratch on her shoulder and licked it. "Does the one on your tail still hurt?" He askedb.

Storm lapped at the water eagerly, looking up when she felt Arber's tongue. "Tail? Oh! No, I don't even feel it anymore." She laughed at herself, wagging her tail happily. The light of battle was gone from her eyes, and she went back to being her normal... well, less than normal self.

Donte lowered his head to meet her gaze. "What is it?" He smiled, showing those long fangs of his in a more friendly manner than most got to see.

Arber laid down beside her. He made sure he wasn't touching her. He got the chills just thinking of that soft touch. But instead of stiffening up his body, He just relaxed.

Storm opened her mouth to speak, but before she could, her stomach beat her to it. It growled loudly, and she blushed. "I guess all of this training has burned off my breakfast already." She was about to ask Grim if he minded her leaving to hunt, but Grim had already walked off and come back with a mouthful of prey. A couple of birds, three squirrels, and several mice. He dropped them in the center, and took one of the squirrels for himself.
