Russetfang observed the cats in the camp, "Looks like Morningfrost is open to go on a patrol." He called out to her, "Hey! Morningfrost! We're going to find Softkit, come with us!" Although he didn't need to shout, it was customary when in caves which he was now used to. he then swept over to the medicine cats, "Which one of you three is staying with Shiverkit? She looks hurt, but i'm no medicine cat. Rowanpaw, do you know what happened to her?" He hoped Rowanpaw would soon get her medicine cat name.

Blackshade padded up silently, between Russetfang and Brightstar. "I'll go as well." He announced, his voice strangely calm.

Crow breathed heavily, she had been attacked by a few rogues-actually, more than a few. They had injured her badly, adding a lot onto the scars she already had.

She looked up at the Tom, and stood in silence for a moment. She licked her nose and answered, her voice plain, but still soft- as usual.
"Sure RussetFang!" She mewed, as she walked up to join him.
As she padded up to join him, she felt an irritating sting in her front paw.
"Ouch." She mumbled as she stopped herself, and looked at her paw.
It was a small splinter.
She leaned down and placed her front teeth outside the little piece of sharp wood and tugged her head back. There was a little drop of blood- but it wasn't going to hurt her.

She continued on and joined him, and flicked her tail in greeting.
