Hello, and welcome to Evolution Oddities! What exactly do we do here at Evolution Oddities,
you ask? Well, we monitor genetic and evolutionary mutations in Pokémon. Confused? Look
below this little blurb for more information; and enjoy your stay!
Here at Evolution Oddities special Pokémon are available to be adopted by the public. The
special thing about them is that their elemental type shifts and changes throughout the course
of their evolution and growth; depending on how the trainer interacts with them. There are also
Pokémon available that had no previous evolution, and for some reason, they morphed into a
new form; which we consider to be a new evolution.
For an example of type change, take a regular charmander. Say it has a natural affinity for water,
and for it's weekly interaction, it's trainer decides to take it for a walk along the beach. After some
levelling up and training, the charmander evolves into specimen two, whom we will call "Laveleon"
at this point. Instead of being a straight fire type, it has a secondary type of water. Then after more
water-y interaction, it evolves into specimen three, called "Scaldizard": a purely water type.
As for extra evolutions, take a chatot for example. With common knowledge of Pokémon, you know
that it does not evolve further; but here, we turn that around. Most chatot here grow and mutate on
their own free will, often becoming many different variants of their previous form.

• Please have common sense, and follow all CS rules and the rules here.
• Do not claim the ref as your own, as they are all custom drawn by our artists.
• When adopting, you may have a maximum of five Pokémon, for now. I ask that you wait a
bit between adoptions, but that's totally up to you; just don't go all willy-nilly.
• I will not tolerate you selling your Pokémon! Gifting is fine, but even for that, please
message me before you make any severe changes to your ownership duties.
• Pokémon here do not have powers, nor do they have special abilities apart from things
that... [A] I assign them, or [b] They are moves commonly seen among the parent species.
• Try to interact with your Pokémon once every two weeks; when I give you a scenario to
respond to. More information on interacting will be listed somewhere below.
• More rules will come, so keep a close eye on this list!

At Evolution Oddities, we believe in owners giving their Pokémon proper care and sustainment,
in order for a happy life! This includes interaction as well, including direct contact and other
things such as dueling with other trainer's Pokémon oddities.
Pokémon to Human Interaction
Once every two weeks, a scenario will be presented on your
Pokémon's personal oekaki page. It is up to you, the owner,
to answer that scenario with a small blurb of your own. After
another two weeks, another scenario will pop up; following
the one preceding it! Later on there will also be a shop that
sells items which will speed up the growth of Pokémon and
do all sorts of other things.
Pokémon Battling & Shows
Every once in a while, tournaments will be set up among the
community. You may enter up to two Pokémon, and they will
be placed into leagues according to how strong they are. From
there, they earn experience points that go towards levelling
up, or maybe a surprise scenario! Other prizes will be available
as well. There are also Pokémon shows, where instead, appearance
is displayed in order to be ranked and paired.
