"Aye lad, that I do. That's why I hope you stay with her for a while, and protect her where I cannot" Darhem withdrew his hand and grinned at Rin scratching his beard.

Rin was watching them between her fingers, "Are you done? Please be done". She was blushing so hard she could physically feel the heat on her hands.

"Wait, what?" Tovheir's jaw dropped slightly.

Cass folder her arms. "Aye. He is my brother. Well half brother."

Bear glared at Cass. "Then I take it our father knows about me."

Tyr looked back at the fire. "She's going to want to go after Igraine, Dann. She is going to want to kill her..."

"I hope to stay longer than a little while." Pallon replied with a slight shiver.

Darhem froze and looked at him slowly, a smile growing across his bearded face as a sudden realization hit him. He looked to Rin, "Give him your gem sweetie".

Rin gave him a questioning look but did as she was told, unclasping her necklace and handing it to Pallon.

Pallon took the gem carefully and put it to his eye to see Darhem.

Lis mirrored Tovheir's expression.

Dann shook his head. "Even if she mamages to find her, Igraine's too powerful."

Igraine sat in the courtyard of the castle and flipped her golden hair over her shoulder. She adressed the large group of Altheni soldiers and noblemen who'd gathered to gaze at her. "... I was schooled by the best of the best wizzards and scholars."

Darhem didn't say a word as he knelt in the kings guard bow. He looked up to Pallon with a proud smile and a spark of knowing as he nodded his head, giving to him what he knew he wanted and deserved.

Rin looked to where she thought her father was standing then watched Pallon closely, confused.

Cass shook her head. "No, he doesnt. My mother was the one that tracked you down."

Bear shrugged. "Then theres no need for me to ruin his happy exsistance."

Tyr looked at him with a raised brow. "What do you mean?"

Mage watched Igraine from the shadow of the wall with folded arms.

Pallon grinned. "Thank you, sir. Thats what I needed to know." He handed Rin back her crystal. "Thank you, that was very helpful."

"Anytime love, but, uh, what did he tell you"? Rin asked cautiously, putting her gem back up to her eye.

Darhem stood innocently in front of the two, smirking with his arms folded.

"Ah, I'll tell you later." Pallon replied with a smile and a kiss on the cheek.
