Darkfur chuckled as Ravenfrost turned to face him, saying, "You couldn't forget nursing the two of us, huh?" He wrapped his tail protectively against his stepmother as he murmured, "You were the best, you know."

Ravenfrost purred with amusement, saying, "Oh, come on, Darkfur, I'm all over those days of quietly hating the cat I once had loved. I taught you and Nightpaw not to repeat Rabbitdawn's mistakes, remember?" She then sighed, "I believe we'll need a fresh-kill pile somewhere..."

Silverpaw came out of the medicine cat's den as she looked arouns. Not seeing a fresh-kill pile, she sighed, reminding herself that they were at a new place.
