Welcome to Redwood Valley Equestrian Centre! RVEC is a realistic equestrian sim where you can buy, train, breed, and compete with your own horses. Competition victors will be decided by statistics, attitudes, and responsible breeding; if you play your cards right, you could get several bonus points that could easily turn the tide of a show. You can also create breeders clubs, barn associations, and rescue organizations -- the choice is yours! Whatever your equestrian passion, you'll be sure to find something you love here!

We now have opened our official Cattle Adopts which you can buy and compete in the western event of cutting! Each cow has a different difficulty level in which you can compete against.

If your horse is competing in a cutting competition, he or she will need cattle to cut. You can adopt some on your own and breed them if you want to expand your herd that way but this won't be a full-out sim -- it's more of a really extreme accessory. You must have at least two cattle for your horse to compete, although you may rent two or three for 200c/cow. Cattle will be available to rent from RVEC, so it isn't necessary to buy your own!

Unless you own at least ten, some cattle will be drawn from RVEC's stock to determine which cattle you receive. You will always be given at least one of your own cattle to choose from, and the remaining four will be random. From these five, you can choose which three you would like to actually cut in the competition. I won't go into detail here because that makes it too easy, but intelligence of the horse and difficulty of the cattle are strongly related in cutting competitions. You don't always want a super easy or super difficult bovine.

Rules
    - You may own as many bovine as you can afford.
    - You may not claim another user's cows as your own.
    - You must be polite and respectful to all users at all times.
    - You may not ask for customs; these are given out as prizes
    of top-level competitions only.
    - All colors are to be natural cattle colors.
    - All cattle created are the property of this sim and, if neglected
or otherwise mistreated, may be taken away and readopted.
Don't worry -- this will only be the case if a user quits or has been
    banned from the sim.
    - Cattle will always be first come first served unless on a special
    occasion.
    - Adopts will cost 500c each unless otherwise stated.
    - Contact SydneyandStorm for information on renting cattle.
    - Breedings will not be available. Do not ask.
    - All adopts are reserved for members of RVEC.
    please join to adopt.

Posting is OPEN - Adopts will be released shortly.

I like the new lines, Oddly. Would you consider creating an Irish Moiled heifer or steer?

Name's Maya, but I go by a range of other names. So call me
what you like! I am utterly obsessed with Dragon Age with my main
romances being Alistair, Anders, and Cullen. I am also very
interested in horses and go riding every week for lessons.
I care for and show rabbits in 4H. My lil' bun is a Jersey Wooly
buck named Alistair after the one and only Ferelden king.
Drawing and reading are some of my favorite past times
along with roleplaying. I roleplay on both Feral Front and
Tumblr. Don't be afraid to start a conversation with me!
I don't bite and I'm always accepting of a new friend~

WARNING - I am doing a little jersey event! So expect a few jerseys - I'll do this with a few of the more common breeds we have up at the moment and then continuing with some other breeds. So pm me suggestions or post on the suggestions thread of what breeds youd like to see :)
