He looked shocked how his friend had changed in a few seconds just for being with a kid. Then he smirked and showed himself to the child. Not sure of what to say he forced a smile and said "Hey, I'm Jax, we're not going to hurt you, we just want to help you" he approached slowly and catiously, the last thing he wanted was to get hit with a rock but the girl seemed more comfortable now and he could see that her grip on the rock had softened

She gulped and let go of the rock. The smile of the boy had made her realize that they weren't dangerous and she could not see on them anything that could be a sign that they worked on the Industry "I'm Alex, this is Juan" she said pointing at the boy that had suddenly quietened "And this is Luna" her dog let out a soft bark when she metioned her name and came next to her "Who are you?, why are you saying you can help me?"

She smirked "Well, we can go for a canoe ride if you want to?" she pointed at the lake "The lake it's empy, we'll have a lot of fun"

Slowly edging closer Ember snaked a hand cforward picking up the rock and tossing it into the bushes.Glancing back at the child his warm glow suddenly ran out and he became void and thoughtful again.Shifting his weight on the ground he kneeled down and spoke softly his cool voice more calm and collected now rather than the once warm and inviting that he had fronted earlier."Well you see we want you and your friend to come with us to a safe place where people like us can live in peace.A place where young shifters such as yourself can live without being in fear of the Industy."he said simply shifting into his animal.As he switched he nesseled down inside his wolfs form and sighed in content before gesturing towards Jax to continue on

She frowned as Ember left, clenching her jaw with sudden hurt. Memories seemed to flash right back at her, vivid images of blood and tufts of fur in the air, her nose quivering. The truth was, she had only shifted once in her entire life...perhaps it had been last week, last month, last...year? Erin twirled her thumbs as she sat there, in the dark, her legs tangled up within the blankets. Her heart throbbed loudly against her chest, her stomach twisting at the thought of the way those knives glinted in the light, the look on that kids face when she had first become...a tiger. An animal. A freak. A black and white striped mutant. Her other...self. She gritted her teeth, gently resting her head back into the soft pillows, plush beneath her as she laid crumbled up on the bed, human. "Lack of control?" She whispered into the darkness, her voice bitter as it seethed through her lips. The girl was at the peak of her fifteenth year, her eyes bleak as she finally decided to get some rest.
