As the Tiger stepped into view Embers cold eyes became a vibrant glow and his cold stature softened slightly though he made no move to smile.Unlike most people who he was sure never made eye contact for her or shunned her for what she was he stared into his eyes with no emotion.He didn't scream and run.He didn't laugh.And he didn't seem in any way affected by her 'surperior' front.Her hiss didn't make him flinch.Staring her down he tilted his head before walking up to her and kneeling down infront of her never breaking eye contact "Shift."he ordered simply "If you hold out to long in your condition your just going to become weaker So Shift." he said simply though his eyes were void and shut off his voice held a pinch of concern

Her body shook violently with sudden panick when he neared her, meeting her eyes head on, unafraid. She could feel her chest twist in agony at his words, clenching her jaw as she gave in, feeling her paws buckle beneath her, the cold sharp breeze against her bare arms, her legs slumping to the ground at the sudden pull of energy, the shift. Her thoughts became eased, her breaths softened at the familiarity of her human form. The tufts of fur that had been about her mane now curtained her face, her hair a pale white beneath her black sweatshirt. Her jeans were rugged, stained with grass as she raised a shaking hand to her shoulder. "...Who are you?" She blurted out, looking up from her kneeling position at the man.

Leaning forward Ember caught the girl as her animals paws bucked and gave out.Holding her up as she shifted he stayed emotionless.Didn't smile as she gave in didn't frown as she sat on her knees and didn't run when she shifted.Tilting his head at her sudden out burst he gave a small thoughtful grunt though a smile never made its way on his face."My name is Ember Grey And I'm just like you."he murmered as he shifted himself though the process was much more familiar and easier then what she had just gone through.Sniffing her neck,her shirt,and legs he checked for wounds before shaking his head.Laying his ears back slightly he shook his head "She's not bleeding but she is very weak..."he murmered softly "I have to get her back to camp before she gets worse,If you go find Juan and the other female I'll send you help."he murmered towards The other man as he circled the girl his body heat like a warm furnace in the winter chill."How long have you been in your animal?"

She blinked as she watched him, her eyes recognizing the sense of his shift...but it had been so fast, so easy...he hadn't even flinched. Her sweaty palms sat on her thigh, doing her best to stop them from shaking as she glanced up at the other man. Her thoughts were still jagged, choppy, as though she was still a tiger, still untamed, unreal. "I...I don't know. I don't remember," she whispered softly after a moment, her voice hoarse, scratching against her throat painfully. "My names Erin, I guess."

Shaking his head Ember shifted back to his human form and reached over to her feeling her head "Jax Im taking her back,She needs medical attention."he said softly before putting up his index finger.Moving it from side to side slowly infront of her eyes he shook his head.Moving to her right side he slipped an arm under the backs of her knees and his other under the small of her back.Lifting her up in one easy motion he carried her in his arms "Put your arms around my neck and be quiet."he stated simply.Glancing down at her for a moment he looked back up and stared at Jax "Be carefull."He murmered softly pulling his knife out of its hollister and handing it to him.Turning back towards camp he walked into the trees only slowing until his cabin came into view.

She curled her arms around his neck, not making a sound as he lifted her up into the air. She felt light headed, her eyes looking up at him in bewilderment as he carried her. "...Where are you taking me?" She whispered dryly after a moment, feeling the exhaustion suddenly fall over her as she let her shoulders relax, staring up at the sky blankly. "...Are the others like us? Will they...?" She gulped, hesitating at the abrupt thought.

Glancing down at the girl he frowned and narrowed his eyes ever so slightly.After a moment of silence he shook his head "Quiet."was the only word he uttered in responce .Walking up to the cabin he unlocked the door before pushing it open with a foot and carrying her to one of the two beds in the small space and laying her down.Starting the small fire place he sighed. The last time someone was in his cabin was Jax and that was a good year or two ago.Walking over to the bucket in the corner he picked it up and walked back over to her grabbing a small towel as he did.Dipping the towel in the water he rung it out and placed it on her head


Withdrawing away he gathered up some blankets and covered her up before slipping to the other side of the room and taking down a jar of honey from the cupboard and a small bag he sighed.Untying the loose cord hiding the bag shut Ember dumped out some small bags filled with diffrent seeds,leaves,and barks.There were also oils on the shelves as well as a crushing bowl.Taking down the bowl he grabbed a few bahadra seeds from one of the smaller bags and a longer green plant from the side.Crushing them into a paste he spread it over some small pieces of bread.Rummaging through the bag agin he proceeded to pull out some peppermint and drop them in some boiling water that was hanging over the fireplace until the aroma filled the house.Pouring some of the peppermint water into a mug he walked back over to her and kneeled down "Eat."he murmered softly sitting the small plate and glass on the table beside her.

She stayed quiet, her eyes bleak as she laid crumbled up on his bed, shifting her gaze warily about the cabin. After a moment she nodded, grasping the mug in her hands and gently tipping it to her lips, the warm water seething down her throat and settling at the pit of her stomach, the corners of her mouth wet as she gently set it back down. Her head span at the sudden taste, her back leaned up against the head board as she rested her head down into the plush pillows. "...It's a nice place here," she murmured breathlessly, blinking.
