"Well, sometimes you just have to kill to get rid of something evil," she mrowed as she watched him drink the water, but she wasn't thirsty. She had never seemed to drink water that much.

Daykit grumbled to herself then slunk into the den.

Whitepelt couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about Adderfang... She turned a lot, but nothing could get her mind off of the event that had happened.

Ghoststripe lay just outside the warrior's den, still remembering Craneflight collapsing and the roar of the monster as it had hit Sootstar - if he had ran out in time Sootstar would still have that life! Craneflight's death was unexpected, and having considered the she-cat a friend he was upset. He blamed himself for the events, he should've been able to stop Craneflight from leaving.

Whitepelt got up from where she tried to sleep, leaving Novasky. She saw Ghoststripe, but ignored him while she passed by him. She ate a vole once she was at the fresh kill pile.

Adderfang sighed, passing on to Moonclan territor. He absent-mindlessly crossed the territory, the scent smelled normal to him.

Whitepelt exited camp, it was too quiet anyway. She could smell Leafclan, but she believed it was her imagination.

Ghoststripe padded out of the camp after Whitepelt, he slid into the bushes stealthily - thinking he might hunt.

Whitepelt kept wandering, she really had no destination. She sighed to herself, walking around in circles.
