Dear Dad,
Thanks for, well, basically everything. You teach me a lot of things and kind of don’t care about what I wear or do with my hair. You let me be myself, compared to when I’m with mom, well, she has a strict picture of how I should be. I mean, how she wants me to be. I get to have legit laughs with you, when sometimes with mom it’s forced, because, frankly, she isn’t that funny, and you are.
You’re always there to catch me when I fall, even if that means falling from a tree. Yeah, you can be a little harsh and strict sometimes, but I always learn my lesson. Well, I still end up back talking, but you usually get it through to me, while I just ignore mom sometimes. You kind of force me to do things when I’m uncertain if I actually want to do them, and in the end I end up loving what you told me to do. Like that one time I was afraid to ride the roller coasters, and you yelled at me. You kind of made me feel bad about myself, and I started crying, but I’m glad you made me go on the roller coaster because now I love them.
