"Just try again." Sparroecry purred, "Heatherpaw took a while to learn to fish." He chuckled as he nudged the she-cat again. He sat beside her, their pelts brushing against each other, "Try again." He repeated.

Almost jumping at the touch of his fur Crimsonleaf looked down at the water, seeing a shape in the water she flicks her paw in and catches a fish, quickly biting it she says, "Yay i finally did it!"

"Always follow your heart," He chuckled lightly as he sat away from her, "Listen to the beat of your heart before catching anything." He sipped his head at the catch, "Well done." He purred.

Purring back Crimsonleaf said, "Thanks, your the one who helped." then putting her tail over his she said, "Its a nice day so far."

"It is." He mewed as he looked towards the sky, "Shame it's going to be leaf-bare soon." Her mewed, "We should be getting back." He sighed as he rose to his paws and picking up his two peices of fish.

Picking up her fish Crimsonleaf said, "Leaf-bare isnt that bad, gives everything a chance to sleep and become nice for the next year.Beat you there!" racing through the path to the camp Crimsonleaf saw the camp entrance in sight.

Sparrowcry ran after her, he saw the camp's entrance and raced past the she-cat. He winked to her just as he paced the she-cat's pelt.

Running towards the entrance Crimsonleaf saw Sparrowcry passing her, giving an extra burst of speed she tried to pass him but didnt.Getting into the clearing she said, "Nice, your faster than i thought," giving him a lick on the cheek she picked her fish back up and put it on the fresh kill pile

Featherwind noticed Sparrowcry and Crimsonleaf sit close to each other- so close to each other. She managed to meet Sparrowcry's eyes, and held her solemn, regretful gaze to his, then she felt wet tears come to her eyes as she whirled around and ran into the den. She was so young- only 18 moons old. She had had a mate, who had died so long ago, and she had always been closed up with her emotions since. Finally she had felt open and free, as if she was falling inlove again. But he loved that she-cat. If only she was not a queen. If only she was a warrior- no tom wants a queen who has kits- no tom. She buried her face in her bushy tail and fluffy paws, hiding her face as she silently sobbed.

Harekit tumbled over to Duckkit and Crowkit. "Wanna play?" she mewed, tilting her head to the side.

(Can the kits be apprentices now? Thanks! Featherwing really wants it soon!!!! And they are grown up now.

Sparrowcry noticed featherwind as she ran back into the nursery, He dipped his head towards Crimsonleaf and followed her in. "Featherwind?" He asked with a slight purr, "Are you oka.." His words were interuppted at Blizzardstar called for a clan meeting. "We better go." He smiled.

Blizzardstar leaped onto the high-ledge as she looked down at the others; "It is time for some 'paws to become warriors" She smiled warmly at each apprentice as they padded into the clearing. "Heatherpaw, you will now be known as Heatherstep. Sunpaw, You will now be known as Suntail. Mintpaw, you will now be know as Mintwhisker and Mistpaw, you will now be known as Mistfall." Her eyes looked up at the sky, she waited for the name chants to die down before continuing, "And we have an apprentice ceremony to hold; Crowkit you will now be named Crowpaw and you will be trained by Crimsonleaf. Swankit you will now be known as Swanpaw and will be trained by Ravenfrost. Duckkit you will now be known as Duckpaw and will be trained by Suntail. Harekit you will now be known as Harepaw and will be trained by Sparrowcry and finally Vixenkit you will now be known as Vixenpaw and you will be trained by me." She dipped her head to know the ceremony was over.
