i wouldn't even be surprised. they've already come up with a new 3ds. it's been a few years since the wiiu came out, it's about time something new arrived. ID it makes me wonder if they'll announce a new pokemon game soon too. x/y was in 2013 and oras was in 2014, and both were announced around this time.

Honestly, I'm waiting for Gen 7 and/or Sinnoh remakes. Unless they do a complete overhaul of Kalos, I don't think I'd be terribly interested in Pokemon Z or X2/Y2, and they've never made the third game in remakes so far (no Electric Yellow or Mind Crystal, after all). Of course, will probably be a while before Gen 7, but...eh, patience and all that.

I once saw someone on a YouTube comment insisting that Delta Emerald would happen because it hadn't been denied, and that everyone who disagreed with him was ignorant.
