So, hey guys. Just your friendly neighborhood archivist, Jag, here.
I wanted to ask about you guys' opinion on the archives. I had a couple ideas about some changes to it, but I wanted to see what all of you thought of them.
Firstly, I was wondering if there should be some sort of form for users to submit when changing their usernames. Is that unnecessary, or would it help me keep more organized?
Second, I wanted a way to give credit to the artist of each particular Foxicat, and I thought that I might link each Foxicat to the artist. Is that a good idea in your opinion?
Lastly, I've noticed that some (not a lot, but some) people are naming their Foxicats. I didn't put any space for names when I first made the archives, but I wonder if I should do so for the people who have named their Foxicats. I also would like to have a way to show what each Foxicat's rarity is. So basically, I might change the structure of the archives a bit. I'll use Hawky<3's Foxicats to demonstrate each.
First, the way that the archives are currently structured:
As you can see, there is no information on any Foxicat, just the Foxicats themselves. Now, there are a couple ways I was thinking of structuring them; firstly, by rarity.
Hawky<3Commons
Uncommons
RaresVery Rares
The thing that I don't like about this way is that the Foxicats wouldn't be in chronological order, but maybe I'm the only one who cares about that.
Here's another way:
Hawky<3-Pepsi
-Common
-(Name)
-Uncommon
So, what do you guys think? Should the archives stay the same? Should I implement one of these ideas? Should I combine a few ideas? (Maybe the artist could also be written for that last idea?) Is there any other information not mentioned that you think should be included with each Foxicat? Do you have a completely different idea? Talk to me, guys, I want to hear what you all have to say. <3
