Celestia was about to tell him to ignore it - ponies randomly showing up, then running off weren't the best source of information - but quickly reconsidered. Investigation would be possibly the best thing to do, but they had no leads, so there was nothing to investigate. "Have one division of the guard to check for any strange activity in Canterlot, and report to me as soon as possible."

"Yes mam!" The guard said, walking out through the doors and shutting them. "Attention!" the guard yelled and two lines form. "I need two divisions to report to me, front and center!" Two groups stood in front of him "Your group, head into town and investigate and ask around if they have seen anypony suspicious. And your group go to Ponyville and send word to Princess Twilight Sparkle that she is to stay in ponyville and to warn the town of the possible attack on Canterlot." Both groups ran off to where they were assigned.
