I used to think they were foolish, that we had all the aspects and classes we needed
but now I'm more open to it
And by explaining I mean like
what are some of the fanmade ones?
I recall seeing zen and blaze for fanmade aspects
but I don't know what they're all about
I mean I can guess but I'll never know for sure without checking up on the facts
Yeeeeeeees, I've been waiting 5evers for someone to ask this!
I think the purpose of fanmade Aspects is to touch upon specific aspects that could be manipulated by other Aspects, but are much more specific.
For example, my personal headcanon for Blaze is that it represents spirit, motivation (both are also represented by Breath), passion (also represented by Heart), and aggression (also represented by Rage). But a single person can't have multiple Aspects. So a person who was passionate, full of spirit, and/or aggressive could be a Blaze player (or, depending on Class, completely lack it) instead of the game having to select among Rage, Heart, and Breath.
Another example is Keys, which is secrecy. Void could also represent secrecy, but Keys truly focuses on secrecy and the unknown, whereas Void focuses more on nothingness. Void is also represented by substance or lack of it, but Form narrows this down to focus only on formation and substance.
The best part about fanmade Aspects is that you can come up with your own headcanons for them as long as they're not overpowered.
So, as a Mage of Blaze, I lack aggression and feel burdened by it. A Knight of Blaze would use his/her aggression to protect his/her teammates. Or maybe something else; it just depends on how you interpret it.
Hope this helps!
Also, I have Blaze sprite edits; I'll get them later!
