[storm coming.]

She padded into the forest, her small paws sinking softly into the dirt and leaving pawprints. Rosekit spotted a mouse almost right under her paws. It was nibbling a small seed. She ran up to it enthusiastically and tried to kill it with a sharp bite, but it ran away.

Kestrelfire shook his head realizing that he had dozed off, Lionstar was no longer in sight. Gazing towards the sky, it was almost sun high and Kestrelfire needed to pick a warrior to lead the hunting patrol. Scanning the clearing, the camp was now bustling with life and the red tom spotted Cypressheart sitting on the far side of the hollow. Giving a quiet purr of delight, Kestrelfire stood up and shook the dust from his pelt. Padding over towards the grey tom, he nodded and sat down beside him, "Hello, Cypressheart." The red warrior's tail curled over his paws, "would you mind leading a hunting patrol out at sun high?"

Tigerkit layed there. it might be too late for that... he thought, wobbling to his feet. he made his way over to the medicine cats den. "S-agestep?" he called, hiccuping

Snowfeather looked at the apprentice. "It's much easier to see white fur move than it is for black or brown fur." She explained. "Even with a lot of undergrowth, it's still easier for us to be spotted." She searched behind her. "There..." She said, flicking her tail towards a mouse that was nibbling on a seed at the base of an oak tree, it's back turned to the cats. "See that mouse? The goal is to keep behind the mouse. That way it can't see your white fur." The she-cat crouched down in demonstration. Stalking slowly towards the mouse. The mouse turned, but Snowfeathwr turned with it, so she was always behind the mouse before she leapt, and snap! there was a satisfying cracking sound as the warrior broke the mouse's neck, a clean catch.


AspenStream let out a short huff and dashed after the older warrior, feeling her throat tighten at th sudden increase of speed.

(Right now it's almost sunhigh. Cats are out doing things like getting border patrols taken care of and training apprentices and whatnot. Oh, and some cats keep scenting storm lab over our borders. That's about it)

The small tom purrs softly, leaning down and taking a bite of his mouse. "Good luck with that." He says, looking over at Swiftpaw with a mischievous glint in his yellow eyes

"Yes yes, I will whenever you want to and I'm not busy." He replies with a small nod, sitting down across from the kit and curling his tail over his paws

She smiles and looks at RavenPaw "I know it can't be that hard. You just need to try harder" she replied and glanced up at the sky.

He glanced around and tilted his head to the side "what do other kits do for fun.....? My mother didn't let me play with them when she was alive.

Her head felt miserable. Ivyheart dug her dangerous claws into the nest, piercing from the sharp pain. She padded out of the den, stumbling over to the medicine cat den.

She heard Darksky from outside. Is Ivyheart okay? The kits shouldn't be born quite yet... she thought with worry. " Darksky, what's the matter? Everything okay?" she asked, padding out of the den and seeing Ivyheart looking miserable.

Darksky panted softly "it's ivyheart. She's weak and she's in pain. Is it the kits?" He asked desperately

palecloud smiled and stood up "sure" he said shaking his pelt out

Featherbreeze yawned and stretched, she was about to get up when a pain hit her stomach, "Oh my! The kits are coming!" she exclaimed.
