((Turns out it was too expensive for them to fly me down there, so I won't be doing it. Ugh! SO disappointed!

Mind if I mess with Otter a bit here? XD ))
Dusty - Tags: Shadow, Radar"Dusty Crophopper." Dusty said in response, nodding his front once. "Nice to meet you, Radar Harrison." He paused to let Shadow introduce herself, hoping Radar wouldn't jump all over him like some of his fans, though he seemed fairly even keeled.
Miles - Tags: Spray, DocThe Rover sighed and glanced upward. "I already told this guy, but no... they were very nondescript... all black SUVs... Cadillacs I think. They were... in a more isolated part of the exercise yard. I was doing my laps and well... there were no guards... none at all. I thought there would be as they're usually along the wall there but there wasn't this time. I asked to get through, and they attacked me. Beat me until I was unconscious. I tried to drive off... but failed before I blacked out. I could've sworn I saw the lead guy just now but... well he's gone. And I'm probably just seeing things in the darkness anyway." Miles confessed. "Jumping at shadows and all that." he muttered.
He was tired... exhausted really... the pain meds and his long flight plus his attack had left him wanting to sleep... he'd probably be interviewed tomorrow at this rate. He tried to keep his eyes open, and looked over at Doc here, smiling a bit. "You don't like dead bodies but you're a doctor?" he asked, chuckling a little as he yawned. "Ugh! I don't know how I'm going to keep going! Sitting in my own oil and exhausted beyond all measure! Maybe I should be shown to my room or wherever I'm staying... is there anything else you wanted to ask me?" he glanced over at Spray here wearily.
Oskar - Tags: Shinn, Rush"I... I'm sorry to hear that, Herr Rush." Oskar's face fell here, and he slumped as Skipper returned with the drinks.
"Here! Drink up!" he ordered, having ordered a Carona himself. Oskar stared at his drink sadly, and began sipping from it, slurping a little as he partook of the Dutch beer.
"I'm sorry you feel that way, Herr Rush..." Oskar said softly, almost inaudible over the din of the restaurant. "I hope you find peace... someday."
"Peace?" Skipper asked, looking between the two of them. "What is this, feel sorry for ourselves night? Come on! We don't even know what's going to happen next so no moping!" he snapped, narrowing his eyes.
Blade: Tags: Otter, Horah"No... I don't know anything." Blade said. "Nothing at all. I was leading him to safety." He nodded in Otter's direction. "And I got wounded... haven't spoken with anyone who knew anything about this yet... but Dusty's right... we gotta come together... just like Otter said. As a united patchwork... we uh... we stand strong." Blade said. The TV at the cafe was on, and Blade listened in as reports from the new moon were coming in.
"Scientists can now confirm the new red moon has an orbit of 16 days, not 28 as our own does. It appears to be made of geological features very similar to Europa, Jupiter's moon, in that it has a silicate rock and water-ice surface. Oddly enough, it's atmosphere appears to consist of oxygen, which also mirrors Europa. It appears way more habitable than our own moon, but scientists are hesitant to send up manned spacecraft at this time, though are planning to do so in the near future..."
"How about that? It's got breathable air on it... strange." Blade shook his front. "This is just so.. bizarre. Breathable air on the new moon... it resembles one of Jupiter's... just... where did it come from anyway? Moons just don't appear in the night sky!" As Blade was talking though... Otter would've experienced something very, very strange.
It was like a veil would've lifted from his eyes... and his vision was restored... but he wasn't in front of Blade... or Horah... or even in Propwash Junction. Instead, he was in that same, blue place Dusty had been earlier... pinnacles rose all around him, topped out by... what could be described as strange looking buildings. They were shaped like semi-circles with serrated edges, and lights could be seen from within them. The blue hue bathed the rocky towers in its glow, and before him... Pike stood, sad eyed, dead looking... but he was there all the same. "Hello... Otter..." he said, his voice different... wispy... hoarse... "It's been a long time... hasn't it?"
