In-Depth: Personality and History

Silverpaw was born to Riverwind, an EarthClan warrior, and Rain, a rogue she-cat. The two had first met when Riverwind was out hunting by hinself. Rain had accidentally stumbled across EarthClan territory, and nearly bumped into him. Although Riverwind tried to chase her away, it was love at first sight for the both of them. The two cats kept meeting in secret, knowing that it was against the Warrior code, and Rain eventually became pregnant with his kits. At Riverwind's insistence of asking his mate to join EarthClan, Rain refused, bearing him three kits and leaving him to face the consequences alone. As they were half-Clan, the kits were cared for (well too) by the queens of the Clan, and Riverwind got off lightly for his actions.

Tragedy struck Silverkit when she was five moons old: Riverwind was killed by a snakebite, and her two sisters, Fernkit and Leafkit, died due to severe coughs she now suspects was whitecough. After this, Silverkit was blinded in her left eye in an accident when she poked it with a tree branch as she tried to chase a squirrel off-camp. Although she had to be apprenticed half a moon later than the usual six moons, Silverpaw wasn't deterred at all. Feeling gratitude toward the medicine cat that is now her mentor, Silverpaw decided her path was of a medicine cat's.

Silverpaw has seen through quite a lot as a kit, and is half-Clan, half-rogue; however, she is like any typical apprentice: energetic, curious, and eager to learn. Silverpaw has noticed that her sense of scent is her strongest point now that one of her eyes has gone blind, and she is grateful for such a gift.

Other Information

Strengths
Silverpaw is eger to learn, and isn't afraid to get things wrong sometimes. She also has a slightly better sense of smell.
Weaknesses
Silverpaw is blind in one eye, so she heavily prefers that side. She, like Brightheart in the first arc of the series, tries to avoid putting any cat on her left side when talking to others. Also, there might be cats who might exploit the fact that she is only 'Half-Clan'.

In-Depth: Personality and History

Darkfur was born to two warriors of EarthClan, being a Clan cat through and through. As an only kit, Darkfur was treated with utmost care by his mother. However, Sparrowfeather was a sickly cat from birth, and giving birth to Darkfur took a heavy toll on her already-frail health. She finally passed away when Darkfur was four moons old. The hatred for his father, Rabbitdawn, grew when he, rather than grieving for his mate, went ahead and mated with another queen, Ravenfrost. Unlike the stories of new mothers being hostile toward their mates' previous mates' kits, Ravenfrost was a kind she-cat who sought to please her stepson. Due to this queen's actions, Darkfur grew to adore her and her daughter, Nightkit (now Nightpaw).

Darkfur's resentment grew toward his father until one day, he confronted Rabbitdawn about it. After an argument, both toms stormed out of the camp in separate directions. The next day, Darkfur, then Darkpaw, was found coming into camp, but Rabbitdawn was nowhere to be found. Since then, he has grown to only trust in himself, his half-sister, and his stepmother.

Darkfur is a fierce and loyal warrior (a very new one at that) at heart, but his resentment toward his uncaring father has made him bitter. He is overprotective of his sister, and has promised to be at her side as much as he could. Despite this, and a tough-looking exterior, Darkfur is very sweet and caring, especially toward kits, and one day wants kits of his own with a mate he vowed to never abandon. He is also always feeling a little guilty toward his father's disappearance, even if he knows it wasn't his fault ultimately.

Other Information

Strengths
Darkfur is agile on his paws, and does not fear most things, being a young warrior and all that. He also considers himself an accomplished hunter. If that's true or not... it needs to be seen to know.

Weaknesses
Darkfur is strong and agile at the same time; however he is rather reckless and hotheaded, a weakness of his young age. He is also very protective of his family, and somewhat narrow-minded.

Getting the other two forms done sometime after class... and just a little note- technically Darkfur and Nightclaw (the cats depicted) are mates but made siblings for this RP to abide by the rules ^^' that, and Night's name's changed to Nightwing as well xD
