When you first meet Hemmingway, his behavior may be a little.... different than what you had expected. He may come off as avoidant, possessive, distanced, aggressive or obsessive. If he feels like he is being threatened or challenged, he will rise to the occasion. This state of mind only comes along rarely, however. This is because he is very protective of what he adores - this includes people, too. Even at a young age, Hemmingway is very intelligent, and because of this has developed quite a sharp tounge and is an avid user of sarcasm, frequently. He is quite individualistic and is not interested infollowing others, so he is hard to persuade towards any causes that may not directly benefit himself.. However, once you convince him to emerge from his "shell" of being, well, Hemmingway, he is very kind-hearted, comprehending and good-natured. Although he tends to concentrate on his own thoughts and feelings rather than those of other peoples, once he warms up to someone, he will treat them with an approachable, trusting and cordial attitude.

Hemmingway considers his vast collection of weird rocks, shiny stones, sharp seashells and other generally pretty things to be quite impressive; however, by far his "prized posession" is a necklace. Yes, a boring old rope necklace. The charm of it, attached to the brown string, is a raven's feather, and a small, shimmery pearl, about the side of a plastic bead. He never takes it off, and often declares it's because Hiro would steal it, despite Hemmingway being more of a theif.

Not many people are allowed in here, and - please, take care not to move anything around, especially my shiny things. Those are mine.
Well, I suppose you're here to know more about me. Uh, I must warn you, I'm not going to tell all, so if you plan on getting to know me, don't expect anything especially newsworthy. But if you insist.." he murmured quietly, gesturing towards a tidy spot on the end of his perfectly-made bed.
"To start from the beginning.. my name is Hemmingway. It's actually an Old English last name - my mom says it refers to being "lost". I have always liked my name, I guess. I was named after some author my mom likes, for some reason.I was born on August 22st, which makes me a Leo... at least, I'm pretty sure it does. I've got a twin brother, and his name is Hiro. He's alright, but he doesn't really get all.. this." the young paint wolf regarded wildly towards the large collection of odd feathers, gems and rocks, and let out a soft sigh, " as I was saying.. I live with my moms - yes, plural. I used to get teased a bit for having two moms, but I got over it. It just means double the milk and cookies, double the hugs..." he trailed on, before he paused to look at you with his wide grey eyes. "I don't really know what you expected.. after all, I'm only a kid.."

Hemmingway was named after one of Codyak's favourite authors;
so it kinda makes sense that they get along well. Their personalities just
click and they end up working perfectly.

Chihiro -
Truth be told, Hemmingway doesn't really get along with Chihiro.
They argue alot, which often ends in tears and dramas - despite this,
though, he does still genuinely love his mom very very much.

Hiro -
Hemmingway is the older twin, by twelve and a half minuets - and he doesn't let
Hiro forget it. Although Hiro is more of a kid brother to Hemmingway, he still
absolutely adores the kid, even if he doesn't understand his "weird rock collection"
or why he's so obsessed with keeping things neat.
