The old tom nods in agreement, purring lightly. "Aye, it's much better than the cold of leaf-bare, especially on these old bones." He murmurs, his voice deep and raspy

Sootwhisker let out a soft snort, curling her tail up and down rhythmically.

Tigerkit puffed out his chest. "So what if I do!"
He teased, tsil lashing. "You can't prove anything!"

"If only I could have stayed a young cat forever." The tortoiseshell tom grumbles, watching in slight amusement as Cloudstripe gave Tigerkit a hard time

"Oh yeah?" The tom says, looking at the kit with a curious expression before sweeping him up into his jaws by the kit's scruff and letting out a low chuckle. "What if I told Lionstar right now?" He asks, his voice muffled

Willowleaf

Willowleaf chuckles softly, looking over at the young apprentice. "If you change your mind the offer still stands." She purrs teasingly

Snowfeather halted. "Okay Dewpaw, take a good whiff. What can you smell?" she asked, testing the apprentices skills.

Tigerkit let out a shriek as the tom cat lifted him up off his paws. "Hey!" he cried, wriggling to try and free himself. "L-let me go!"

Sootfeather let out a raspy laugh at the young kits struggle. She had seen Dewpaw go out on a dawn patrol and beamed with delight. "Dewpaw is growing into a fine young cat" she commented, proud of her kin.

Willowleaf stops a few paces behind Snowfeather, scenting the air and flicking her tail before looking towards the apprentice and waiting

The tom lets out an amused purr and shakes Tigerkit lightly. "Not happening until you fess up." He murmurs, sitting down with the kit still hanging in his jaws

Specklefur

"Quite the cat indeed." Specklefur murmurs, nodding in agreement. "If only I had kin to watch grow." He huffs, though he still had the rest of the clan to watch which still filled him with joy

Dewpaw parted her jaw and inhaled slowly before breathing out "Two-legs? I am guessing? There is a mouse nearby and some other unfamiliar scents." she meowed quietly.

Sootwhisker flicked her risk in acknowledgement. "This clan gets stronger every day..." She muttered, steely gaze sweeping the clearing. "Did I ever tell you about the great battle?" She asked, turning her head.

Tigerkit let out a soft groan, still wriggling, refusing to fess up.

Snowfeather nodded in approval. "Very good!" She exclaimed with a low purr. "Now, do you smell that? It's a scent from yesterday, and it kind of smells like fox, but not quite..."
